I won't participate in a poll unless
the bigot option is available. I am
intolerant of certain people, but
unlike the Church, at least I admit
it. Certain people have try much
harder to convince me they can
be trusted. It's called being victimized
by certain people in the past.

So, basically what you are saying is that the Church should not be able to have any rules or standards of behavior but you are allowed to? Because that is kind of what it sounds like.

Not at all, far from it. Just admit what
those rules and standards really are and
I'm fine with it. Discriminatory and
intolerant, which is the dictionary def
of bigotry. Saying there can be no women
priests because god doesn't approve
is the orig bullshite scapegoat reason.

Nobody is forcing anybody to show up. Why would you care about a rule of a place you do not belong to? Should the local Elks and Moose Lodges get your permission before they write their constitutions?

So this is you admitting that the Church
has bigoted rules? Now if you can just
convince FrG that his god is the orig
discriminator, we're getting somewhere.

Ah, no, no such admission. I am asking why on earth you care so much. You have never come close to answering this.

You are taking like those people who make fun of USMC because they have a code they believe in. Or any other group that has a code. If you do not like it, why just not join and not worry about it?

Of course I have. I'm anti religion, it
causes more harm and more division
in the world by far, than any other
reason. This is why the secular movement
is on the rise worldwide. People are
realizing enough is enough. I don't
think I've ever met a Gay person I
didn't like, they deserve better treatment
than they get in most churches. Being
Gay is not a choice, we know that for a
fact now. It's not like being left handed,
which can be changed. Gay's don't
have a choice.

So, if religion is so bad, are they not doing gays a favor by not including them? (as you say anyways?)

NGBT's still feel the discrimination if they're
not religious. Look at what atheist Nareed
says about it. And if religion did include
them, that would get rid of most of the problem,
wouldn't it.

I don't know Bob's motivation for continuing to defend his position on religion or Catholicism in particular but I am very glad he has stuck with it.

I have learned a lot from these threads on the subject. A famous USMC Ira Hayes
