Wow, that's right. Mid 80's, it was a sports kit car. They even had a factory announced on the east coast, but I don't think a single car was ever built. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

The factory was an abandoned Volvo omnibus factory, in college the Volvo bus was a case study I was assigned and they sent us info, had some clippings of him touring the place. The President is a fink. |

It was for export to rich Arabs who loved the guy. Any domestic sales would have been just some bonus money. I did not remember it being a kit but all I ever saw was a one or two paragraph in a car mag. The President is a fink. |

There's a series on NBC called Aquarius that's about the Manson murders. The second season starts this week, the first is on Nflix. It's very good and stars David Duchovny as a cop. You never saw an episode of, "My Mother The Car"?  Jerry Van Dyke was positively... pedestrian. Like what would happen if "Rodger Healy" from "I Dream of Jeannie" got his own spin off. |
