You. Must. Be. Joking.

There is no way in HELL you could be that
out of the loop.

I believe he played himself in this cameo.

If I remember correctly, Frank Jr. had a band for a few years, was modestly successful, hated the business and got out. I could easily be wrong, but I'll go look at wiki and see if they can shed some light.

Edit: Looks like he continued in music, but wasn't considered successful by his father's standard. Then again, who is?

Daytona's a deadly place. Glad I got out. I was trapped in the hospital he died in for 4 days in 2005, with a screaming, delusional, bedsore-ridden (the smell!) roommate. Ghastly place.

My parents said they saw him and he was awful. I am sure Frank pushed his kids into the biz directly or indirectly. I am sure he got lots of bookings on his name. FWIW I don't think Nancy was anything special, either. "Boots" is a catchy song because of that bass riff at the end of the chorus, not from her.

I believe I remember my dad who followed the regular Sinatra's career, noted Frank Jr. was "not quite Sinatra" at best. The general public interest waned pretty fast going from some TV appearances with and without Frank Sr. at first to a nightclub circuit.

Dad could only get him in the door as far as opportunity. He didn't really blow up, so that was that.

Hall of Fame sportscaster, MLB catcher Joe Garagiola dead at 90

He used to be on TV all the time. Hadn't thought of him in years.

and in good health.

Normally, you don't die if you're in "good health" except like if you're suddenly filled with bullets.

Some people think they are in good health -- walking around with asymptomatic heart disease would be an example.

High blood pressure is another silent killer.

...or the aneurysm that is about to pop in your head.

I know when I read that, I thought she would have been older, but she did start really young.
