I fail to see why California is not part of real America, but I'm from Texas so maybe I'm out of touch with real America. Enlighten me. The mind hungers for that on which it feeds. |

Enough of them do. Lots of electors are getting hundreds of snail mail letters a day, and thousands of emails. The non understanding of how our system works boggles the mind. What did they think was going on when for months and months all we saw were electoral maps on all the networks every day, and not a single popular vote map. They didn't think anything, they are obviously clueless. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Going to California is almost like stepping into a parallel dimension. Socially, economically, legal system, everything. The President is a fink. |

In most of Calif state elections, Repub's don't even bother running, it's a lost cause. Just like a banana republic, one party runs unopposed year after year. I just read an op-ed that put it succinctly: "We had a national election for president, not an election decided by one state." 49 states picked the president, Calif picked whatever Dem was on the ticket. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

So we had an election picked by borders of the state. Not by the people. Speaking of banana republics, YOU VOTED FOR TRUMP, DID YOU NOT SEE THE BANANA? dude is more banana than many. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Reagan was from a totally different Calif. I knew a guy when I lived there who was a native to the state. He remembered the 1940's and 50's. He said it started going downhill in the 60's and has never looked back. They don't call it la-la land for no reason. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25013 | This is EC day, a great day for the Right. Hillary will be handed her 4th loss. She lost in 08, 16, she lost the recount, and today will lose the EC. The new path for her rabid supporters will be to try and force congress not to ratify the votes on Jan 6th. When that fails it will be to stop Trump being sworn in. After that it's impeachment, we'll be hearing it for the next 8 years. Like Rush always says, the Lefties are at their entertaining best when they aren't in power. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
