I know there is no "line" for the Trumpsters, but wouldn't any rational person say this crosses a line?

It's sad how much he's diminished the role of POTUS in just ~150 days.

And Melania, how's that anti-cyber bullying campaign going?

He doesn't even drink. Which is quite scary when you think about it.... he does all this crap completely sober!

The second Bush President was the first President where the thought of a presidential library gave me some amusement.

I can't even fathom the idea of a Trump library.

Sheila Jackson Lee thinks the President should resign. I listened to her trying to make sense; she has a hard time with that concept. Lots of word salad and nothing more than the fact that she doesn't like the President. I understand her dislike for the President and you have seen my comments about his stupid tweets--in fact, I wrote to him today to express my displeasure (though I am sure the message will get nowhere near him or he might tweet attack me...)--but if every President someone didn't like needed to resign, we'd always been in a mess.

Let whatever investigations there are go on, finish them, and the do something about it if there is a reason to do so. The people can ding him hard in November and fire him in 2020...that is generally how we handle these things...

Be interesting if the Republicans actually ran a candidate against him. There's always a first time.

Oh, I have an idea, we just get every Democrat and willing independents to register Republican before the primaries. I actually care less about who the Democratic candidate is (assuming they aren't nuttier than trump) than just getting rid of him.

Well it isn't the first time, but it only happened in the 19th century .Five incumbents weren't nominated by their own party.

Preisdent #9 (inaugurated March 4, 1841) through #21 (term ended March 4, 1885) was considered a low point for the presidency (with exception of A. Lincoln). A total of 13 men served over 43 years.

4 Incumbent Presidents who were not nominated for re-election
Chester A. Arthur 1,262 #21 Served the remaining 3 years, 5 months, and 13 days of Garfield's term. Lost nomination for a full term.
Andrew Johnson 1,419 #17 Served the remaining 3 years, 10 months, and 17 days of Lincoln's second term. Lost nomination for a full term.
Franklin Pierce 1,461 #14 Served one full term. Lost renomination.
John Tyler 1,430 #10 Served the remaining 3 years and 11 months of William H. Harrison's term. Lost nomination for a full term.

1 Incumbent President who failed to be nominated for re-election and four years later lost an election
Millard Fillmore 969 #13 Served the remaining 2 years, 7 months, and 23 days of Taylor's term. Lost nomination for a full term in 1852. Lost election in 1856.

Not to mention any Republican, or anyone who qualifies under GOP rules, can challenge him for the nomination.

traditionally neither party does this much, but also traditionally such incumbents as face an internal primary challenge lose the general election (see Ford, Carter, and Bush the elder).

The smart people who know Trump is just
playing the media are wondering what's up.
He did it at an odd time. Jessica's Law finally
passed, the travel ban went into effect, and
he warned N Korea that he's done, enough
is enough. Trump plays the media like a
violin. Rush likens it to him playing with
a laser pointer with his cat. The cat will
chase the red dot anywhere and forget his
surroundings. He'll run into furniture and
climb walls.

That's what the media does with Trump's
tweets, they go certifiably insane for days
on end, just like he wants them to.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.
