Now we know why Fox News started pushing the "collusion is not a crime" talking point a couple weeks ago.

Robert Mueller is about to (figuratively) bitch-slap any moron who tried peddling that B.S.

I take all of this very seriously; if there really was a crime somewhere in the deal, even more so. The one thing mentioned often is "collusion"...but that seems not as much a crime that could be found in this case as it is a description of what may be suspected to have happen. The actual crime being mentioned now is that of accepting a campaign donation in the form of opposition research but that becomes a slippery slope because it has to be something of value and I don't know of many campaigns that don't accept info on the opponent.

The biggest harm so far--and I am not saying that something larger won't be found--is that the disruption in our system by this being the top story every day is keeping the focus off the business of running the country. I blame Trump and his team as much as the media for that. When things come out in drips like this, it harms the ability to present and debate actual ideas.

On the less serious side, this would never have happened in Hillary's campaign. There would be no emails for anyone to find.

This parallels my sentiments. This loss of time opportunity is a tragedy.

Nah. Like Babs said on WoV, behind the
scenes Trump is daily cancelling regulations
and programs that Obama put in place to
ruin our economy. Things are getting done
at a rapid pace, just not in congress. But
who cares about that. Mark Twain said the
best place for congress is on vacation, where
they can do no harm.

It is ridiculous to think that more could not be done if the time wasn't being wasted on this debacle. There are multiple pieces to running the country; one of them is not being the one consistently looking clownish. Leaks, drips, message loss, and all of that let the administration looking bad. At this point, with over a hundred Dems voting against Kate's law as an example, the Dems should be the clowns. Trump needs to clean house, get rid of those not committed to his agenda, and take offense. Let someone else tweet about Russia.

Repeal and replace is not repeal and not have a clue.

Wasted time and an election is coming up.

of course...Dems have no clue, so that is helping...if they find leaders beyond Obama and Clinton and move on, they would be better off. Here's hoping the don't!!

It's so odd that when Obama had a Repub
house and senate for most of his time,
that nobody was wringing there hands
over him not getting his agenda done.
He did just what Trump is doing, working
feverishly behind the scenes, where all the
real work gets done.

Huh?

No one expected Obama to be able to get his agenda done with a Repub house and senate (Obama was a Democrat, FYI).

If you're trying to say no one should expect Donald to get his agenda done with a Repub house and senate, well... there's a reason no one takes you seriously.

Trump has a Republican House and Senate. Obama did get things done when he had both.

I also have higher hopes for any President than what Obama provided us. His position was that there was no need to work together; we could just all do things his way or not at all. That isn't leading or governing and it doesn't get things done. There are a lot of things that need to get done that need a bit more than the power of the Presidential pen. Executive orders and such can't fix everything.

And have Donald's first six months been better or worse than Obama, in this respect?
