I also have higher hopes for any President than what Obama provided us. His position was that there was no need to work together; we could just all do things his way or not at all. That isn't leading or governing and it doesn't get things done. There are a lot of things that need to get done that need a bit more than the power of the Presidential pen. Executive orders and such can't fix everything.

And have Donald's first six months been better or worse than Obama, in this respect?

Since I favor more positions that Trump takes than those that Obama took, I'd say that I like the results better.

Realistically, time is passing and what I like better so far may not end up being enough. Legislation is much harder to overturn than an EO; I'd rather see significant progress on the agenda via legislation. The President said that he was a deal maker; time to get some deals done.

I wasn't asking about the results.

You criticized Obama for having the position "that there was no need to work together." (I completely disagree - but let's put that aside).

Has Donald tried to work together on anything? Is it his way or the highway?

I'm perfectly happy with what Trump is
accomplishing, you seem to have a
personal problem with him. You've lost
sight of what the election was about,
beating the wine soaked witch. Whatever
Trump gets done is a blessing, every
regulation he strikes down, every bill that
gets thru to him. The fact that the wicked
crone isn't there further ruining the country
is what this is all about. Duh..
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

I figured you'd disagree about Obama, but he showed no real desire to work with Republicans; he just wanted them to support things the way that he wanted them without compromise.

I am waiting on President Trump to do more, but we'll see how the next 7 1/2 years go.

It is isn't at all personal. It is expectations being met as he set them. He has not done that to date.

Hillary was one thing that needed to be taken care of, but far from the only thing.

He's not going to get a lot of his agenda done without making some deals.

I don't view the election as "just" about beating Hillary. In my opinion, that was just the beginning, not the end.

So now politicians have to actually do
what they promised? When did that
start. Here's how Obama did on
promises made and promises kept.
Pretty dismal, yet he gets a pass?

And this election was ONLY about beating
the wine soaked troll and nothing else.
An end to Obama's America Last agenda.
I was saying before the election, if anybody
recalls.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

It's a lot of peoples. Myself and millions of others
voted against Hillary, not for Trump. I was never
enthusiastic about all his promises, if he does
them, great, if he misses a bunch, who cares.
The point was, the bullet train to economic ruin
and 3rd class world status was stopped in it's
tracks and we drove the troll back down to her
wine cellar.

LOLOLOLOL

This is the ultimate "moving the goalposts" post from EB.

He loves Donald.

Now that things are going down in flames, it was never about Trump.

Next week EB is going to claim his goal all along was to get Pence in as President.

I totally agree
If EB only cared about Drump winning, he would never show up here after the election.
The only reason EB posts on this thread is to deflect from Trump tanking
Whenever things get bad for Drump, EB turns to Clinton
Keep posting about Clinton EB, translation, Drump tanking
