A president has the capability to respond to an attack with nuclear missiles within minutes. How would he have time to have a meeting?

We are supposed to be able to attack even if a sub launches an attack a few miles offshore. It's called MAD. Mutual Assured Destruction. To deter other nuclear nation states.

Did I even mention nukes? Do you think the only decision a president is faced with is whether or not to nuke someone?

I expect the president to wake up, issue orders on whom he needs to meet with, get some coffee, and proceed to deal with the issue at once. If it's important enough for a cabinet secretary to wake him up, it surely cannot wait.

I expect the Orange Man to go back to bed and say "let Mike Pence deal with it."

15min. To go thru all the protocols,
all the steps. Sad to say Trump won't

I think the number is a good bit less than 15 minutes; with good reason. Hillary said it was about 4 minutes, which is probably a better answer than 15... The time it takes a nuke to get here could be much less than that also--we have to be prepared to respond just as fast. That being said, it is a very serious process and the folks with their panties all in a wad about Trump having the authority are acting like he is completely nuts and would just launch a strike because someone wrote a mean tweet about him.

Like every other President, he will know the seriousness of the launching of a nuclear strike.

People were unhappy with what Clinton said but they did not necessarily say that her information was wrong...

Of course, there is an "intricate process" but the President can start the launch process on his authenticated command; the protocols that follow leading to the actual launch require the intricate process of proper authentications. There is no button on his desk...

This is why the Left has no credibility.
In the 80's all we heard was Reagan
was going to blow up the world
because he was a hot headed cowboy
who hated the Soviet Union.

Now it's Trump, who likes Russia and
wants a good relationship with them,
is the one who will blow up the world.
The Left has a template, just insert
a new Repub into it and it's good
