Cheaper than divorce, he figured. Blake had a long career but he always had a couple screws loose..
I don't know about the loose screws part but something induced him to marry a scammer. I don't know if he killed her; the jury acquitted him but her relatives got Blake's money after winning a civil action involving his killing his wife.
Never did figure out where that murder weapon went.

Wow, I would have been willing to make a huge bet that Blake was convicted and still in prison. I watched an Barbara Walters interview recently enough where he was clearly incarcerated, handcuffed as led to the interview, etc. It must have been done during the period when he was denied bail. This was not explained, and I don't think I just "missed it"; nor was there any statement that he ultimately was not convicted. It reinforced my belief that he had been found guilty. What the...?

Well, wadahyouknow, for once I'm right. He was acquitted of murder but held liable in the civil trial.

I found him somewhat convincing after awhile, after watching an interview. Yes, he is ill-tempered on camera, but then OJ was a cool cucumber.

His wife was a long time con artist, who once she married Blake, everyone who she had ever had unfinished business with, soon knew how to find her when she married a celebrity.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Why am I the only one that remembers
this. He was found not guilty just like
OJ was, it was huge news for weeks.
Then he lost in civil court like OJ. We
you guys asleep in those days?

OJ was guilty.

On my TV the jury said 'not guilty'.
What channel were you watching.

'NYPD Blue,' 'LA Law,' 'Hill Street Blues' creator Steven Bochco dead at 74

Hopefully when he gets to the gates they do not remember "Cop Rock."

Watched every episode of HSB at least once. True appointment TV. LA Law was almost as good.
Best of '80s tv IMO.
NYPD Blue lost me a little, but still good tv.

RIP and thanks, Steven.
