Our proximity to the 'warm' lakes keeps us substantially warmer than you. It's 7 F here...... Buffalo |

Furnace runs 50 min out of the hour, but that's better than shutting on and off constantly. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

And this is why we sceptics are sceptical. As I keep saying do your own research AMS and don't believe the crap you are fed. All North America is cold (remember that little country north of the US). The quote below is for Britain "Up to 7cm of snow fell over Exmoor, South Wales and the Cotswolds just after Christmas Day, with motorists being warned to take extra care on the roads. The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of ice for large areas in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. There is a weather warning of snow for the East Midlands and the north of England for Friday morning, with the Met Office warning this could be extended. This follows the major disruption and power outages caused by the snow across the UK yesterday, which saw motorways, trains and airports affected by the severe weather conditions." Holland is also experiencing difficulties. I haven't bothered to research other areas but the quote you presented is either false or presented in such a way as to manipulate people not to present facts. We used to say, "colder than a witch's tit in a brass bra". Maybe that helps explain it? (Minnesota and Iowa). Never doubt a small group of concerned citizens can change the world; it's the only thing ever has |

The only interesting thing about -40° is that it's the temperature where Fahrenheit and Celsius intersect. |

Believers do not do their own research, just lap up what they are spoon fed, tell those of us who think for themselves to "shut up and listen to the scientists!" Then break into chants of "FOUR LEGS GOOD, TWO LEGS BAD!" The President is a fink. |

Now you are just being mean. The high this week has been about -20C. "but if you make yourselves sheep, the wolves will eat you." Benjamin Franklin |
