Just-Dice (an online bitcoin casino with a 99% option) made their money in roughly a two year period when the Canadian government was not looking at Bitcoin. When they changed their rules to outlaw anonymous transactions, Just-Dice closed up shop. JUST DICE SUSPENDS BETTING On June 23rd 2014, Deb, Dooglus’ Just Dice partner, announced that they would be suspending all betting and investment into Just Dice. They made the change based on regulations released by the Canadian government and did not share when they would be bringing gambling back online. In the interim, users were allowed to use test coins. Six months later, Just Dice made a blog post revealing they had stopped accepting Bitcoin, but now accept the CLAM cryptocurrency. I think he made several million dollars in that short time, although they nearly went bankrupt when a whale Nakowa took most of the bankroll. |
