Who are these people? I don't know that many people who, "Want," to be told what to do. I know that there are a lot of people that will follow something simply because it is a law or mandate, but it doesn't automatically mean they support it.

They are about 60% of the population. They follow as told. They are the ones who bought all that oat bran when it was supposed to be good for you. They are the ones who listen to what some celeb says. They are the masses.

How could the Government lock you out of the financial system other than theoretically? Are you saying they could get rid of cash? I guess they could theoretically get rid of cash, but it's theirs to get rid of to the extent that they manufactured it.

Cash is not the financial system. They can lock you out easy. Ever hear of OFAC? If your name is on it you will be denied banking products. Does not need to be OFAC. The IRS can lien and freeze everything you have with no due process. Then there is the push to a digital dollar and getting rid of cash!

People who care about what a celebrity thinks, owing exclusively to their celebrity status, are just idiots. I don't know that means that they are automatically in favor of every theoretically possible Governmental policy.

I get what you're saying, the banking system. I thought you were referring to making everything cash-related controlled by the Government more closely or getting rid of cash altogether. I guess my only major concern, on a personal level, out of the stuff you said is that they stop having cash.

As far as having your stuff or money taken away without due process, due process and Constitutional provisions against illegal search and seizure went out the door a hell of a long time ago. That's not to say nothing should be done about it, but you'd have a long way to go before you'd ever have any hope of success trying to change that.

They just need to be concerned and they go for anything. I said it here somewhere before. Watch "Breaking Bad" when they arrest the janitor and all the restrictions the parents all of the sudden want. And I agree it is an idiot who cares what a celeb says. OTOH, every society has some kind of royalty, our royalty is celebrities. And people sadly follow them. Look at how many just listen to Dr Fauci only because someone said they should.

And why do you think they want to get rid of cash? Now, look back here last summer people here were calling to get rid of cash because they thought they were going to die if they handle it.

Congratulations KILLER joe bidumb!!

In the first month of your presidency, you have allowed the chinese flu to kill almost 100,000 Americans. During Trump’s presidency approx 35,000 Americans died per month from the chinese flu. Bidumb’s chinese flu death toll for ONE month is almost 25% of the total that died during Trump’s presidency.

Nearly 100,000 in U.S. Died from Coronavirus in Biden’s First Month in Office

We have one. I think that the Government mandates make some of those more, "Freedom," oriented people more resentful of them than they might be if it was just a Government suggestion that businesses (mostly) chose to adopt. There's some segment of the population that, quite simply, are going to almost always rebel anytime they are ordered to do anything.

I agree completely with your longer paragraph. In fact, they are treading upon the property rights of the business by not either:

A.) Complying.

OR:

B.) Immediately leaving.
Doesn't the government already have locations for people to turn in their neighbors doing something wrong?

https://www.dhs.gov/fusion-centers

The IRS has for several years now had a program where if you turn someone in who hasn't paid "their fair share" of income tax, the informant can receive up to 30 percent of the taxes collected from that information. https://www.irs.gov/compliance/whistleblower-informant-award#:~:text=The%20IRS%20Whistleblower%20Office%20pays,and%20other%20amounts%20it%20collects.

All that "they" lack is the desire to correct non compliant people, programs are already in place.

Or Dr. Oz, while we're on the subject of doctors.

I don't know how many of them actually do and most are smart enough to know you lose a certain percentage of potential voters until the end of forever. But, the obvious reason why is because everything becomes trackable and traceable without cash.

As far as businesses go, absent some legal requirement (if any exists) they don't have to take cash if they don't want to.

You realize that a significant percentage of those people wouldn't have actually acquired Covid-19 during Biden's time in office, yes?

I tend to think you might be trolling to some degree, but at least do it well.

I guess that's true, but then it depends on the item in question. Ohio, for example, has mandatory reporting for felonies...but not for the overwhelming majority of misdemeanors--if any of them. Not only that, but to run afoul of mandatory reporting laws would first require that you knew that the crime in question was a felony. Drug crimes, for example, you'd have no obligation to report unless you knew a felonious amount of drugs was involved.
