I am not sure what the comparison between masked an unmasked students will be over time (though I do have a guess...), but I am not shocked by a lot of cases and contact quarantines in the first weeks of school. Some information from last school year actually showed infection rates were slower when kids were in school than when they were at home. If that truly was they case, they are just coming out of being home a lot and going to school and the numbers would trend higher.

I am not anti-vax. If you want it, get it.

The covid vax was rushed out and as we are seeing is not what it was made out to be. Thus the risks for me outweigh the rewards. Now, here is the thing. I know a few other people who are not getting it and all have the same reasons as I am giving here.

As to other vaxes I think we need to spread them out more. Quit giving these "cocktail" vaxes. Polio yes, that is crippling. Chicken Pox? You get over it in a week. Risk/reward.
