Sure we do. Read the scholarly reviewed studies they all come to the same conclusion. Masks in general prevent nothing. Either they are the wrong material, people don't know how to wear them, or they just don't work. I cannot count the number of people I've seen in the last 2 years that have the mask just over their mouth and not over their nose. And I hardly ever go anywhere and I'm always seeing it. Especially among minorities of all stripes. A mask is a placebo. Placebo, a harmless medicine or procedure prescribed more for the psychological benefit to the patient than for any physiological effect. Is that a perfect description of a mask or what. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I don't relish wearing a mask either, but I'd rather do that than get covid. As an additional benefit from wearing a mask, maintaining social distnce and cleaning my hands often I have not had a cold or flu since before covid started, and I usually get severay colds a year. |

I agree Life is wonderful when you are not sick So much attention is paid to death rates We tend ignore long covid which is a serious problem that the medical community can't seem to solve Just checked out the St Louis Art museum.
