As far as Mutual Funds, I only own one (TWCUX) which has done RIDICULOUSLY well over the past two decades. In general, I now prefer ETFs which are more liquid than MF’s, and tend to be more tax efficient as well. Usually lower internal fees as well.

My big 3 are
PRMTX Communications and Tech fund
TRBCX Blue chip growth fund
VINIX Vanguard Instrument index

Im pretty conservative. These are pretty solid funds. I'm not looking to get rich. I just want steady growth and so far thrilled with their performance

If you want to play with silver for trades you can go on Forex and trade it with leverage. Do keep some at home, but that is for EOTWAWKI, not investment.

The price for an ounce of silver in 2011, was $36. Adjusted for inflation, that would be $43 today. The current price for silver is $25. Adjusted for inflation, silver lost 72% of its value over the past ten years.

Over the same period, the S&P returned 247%.

Gold and Silver remain undervalued, but between money going into BTC, Central Banks, and price manipulation via derivatives, they could remain in their current price range indefinitely.

Go back to 1980 and do the same comparison. But the thing is if things crash you can carry a few oz of silver around for exchange, that might not be possible with Bitcoin, though I keep both. And that is why. Same reason I keep enough cash in the safe to last a week at least. Imagine if when the virus hit the banks had to close.

How many of the investment gurus here managed to catch the Rivian IPO and double their money.

Nope, I have doubled in other things though. My WKHS has a cost basis near $0 from writing covered calls. That one might be something some day.

Got assigned some from a busted Bull Call Spread last week. Gonna hopefully parlay that to a nice little return the next few weeks. Long term I do not like it so much.

I'm sticking with Ford
Only competition in trucks is Toyota
GM and Dodge are a joke these days due to quality issues
I'm really amazed by my F150, all I do is change the oil. Maybe too regularly but I like to baby my engine with fresh oil.
