I've seen plenty of confederate memorials Why do you think "woke" is nonsense? People and society evolve Woke is not new, it's the evolution of thought in society. Because a minority of Americans are attempting to impose their values and politics on the majority who do not agree with them. BLM, antifa, trannies: most people oppose expansion of these ideas, right or wrong. This is a democracy, shouldn't "the will of the people," i.e. a MAJORITY of the people, prevail? What good is having power if you cannot make your adversaries dance to your tune? |

I think it's the minority that can't deal with woke They will get there eventually Newt Knight was lividly hated for being woke Now people yawn at biracial children This is a democracy Don't like a statue going down Don't whine Move to the area and fight for the statue politically. Vote. Run for office. Get a referendum on the ballot. If you lose because the people have spoken. That's democracy.
