Do you already have these?

No, although I wouldn't mind. As far as I know, Arizona is the only state to make copper license plates.

Two days left to bid.

They are not that rare and come up frequently on eBay. Those dealer motorcycle plates are much harder to find.

31 minutes to go. Price is at a nice low $152.59.

Updates:

11 minutes to go. Price the same.

I won at $360.81. I was one of four or five snipers, depending on how to define the word, but came on top. I was willing to go higher, so am happy with the price.

Congrats Wizard! It looks like a nice haul. What happened to the one from '76?

The collector, his collection is everything.
Collecting is dangerous for some people,
in some it represents a dark side.

Don't know. You'd have to ask the seller.

Here is an interesting auction closing on eBay in 9 hours: USMLM Military Liaison License Plate Cold War GDR Rare!.

I didn't even know about this, but the car was for a secretive branch of the military stationed in East Germany during the cold war. I'm surprised the USSR allowed them into East Germany but maybe we reciprocated by letting them have people in West Germany. Perhaps Paco can tell us more.

I have a sniper bid on the plate but I have a feeling it won't be high enough. With 9 hours to go, it is already at $310.
