Turmeric Supplements May Have Caused This Woman's Liver ...

Turmeric Supplements Could Pose Risk of Liver Damage

"According to the report, a 71-year-old woman was taking the supplement (along with 20 other medicines and supplements) for her heart health and developed autoimmune hepatitis. This form of hepatitis—or liver inflammation—was caused by her body’s own immune system turning against her liver cells, a condition that could eventually lead to cirrhosis, or scarring of the liver, and liver failure. Doctors later discovered that the woman had been taking a high-dosage turmeric supplement for eight months prior to the incident."

Lots of times, it will be pointed out that certain communities in the world regularly consume some type of food or substance and then someone notes they have lower instances of cancer, or whatever the disease is. But it's almost always true they have been consuming lower amounts over long periods of time not large amounts over a short period of time. Me, for substances where I don't think there is clear information on what amounts benefit, I would just add the normal amount to my diet unless I'm sure of what's known about it.

there's probably all the turmeric you need in yellow mustard, there's enough in it to give it that yellow color. Use mustard instead of mayo. And think of starting a new thread.

People posing ‘direct threat’ to UK found among potential Kabul evacuees

I have heard that the US has evacuated over 20,000 Afgans so far. In the rush to evacuate these Afgans, it has been said that the US State Dept has done little to no vetting of them.

How many terrorists have the US unleashed upon the United States and the world?
Let's go Brandon

Short-term for a day or two. Taking any NSAID over a long period of time like months or years will screw you up big time. Mess up your stomach and your liver. Turmeric taken in a small amount you can use it all your life. In places like China India Pakistan they cook with it everyday it's a major ingredient in their diet. Anything will hurt you if you misuse it. Start a new thread quit hijacking this one.

I was responding to the post you hijacked the thread with.

Small movements are harder then large movements. It hurts my shoulders more to use my fingers then it does for me to dig a hole with a shovel or vacuum the floor. It's because my shoulders have to hold my arms in a certain position for a length of time while I type. There is no movement involved. I started mixing a teaspoon of turmeric with my avocado salad for lunch everyday a couple months ago and I think it's making a difference. Turmeric is an age-old treatment for arthritis it reduces inflammation of all types. You can get it in capsules in the health department. I prefer to eat it on food.

'A Wednesday poll reveals only 24 percent of registered voters believe President Joe Biden’s
Afghan withdrawal is going “very well” or “somewhat well,” according to Morning Consult/Politico.'

Even Shifty Adam Schitt is saying it's
not looking good for any Americans
left behind after the 31st. It's a
terrorist wet dream, thousands of
Americans to cherry pick hostages
from and make demands for years
to come. Is Biden insane? Probably.

It would be messy no matter how it was handled.

Joe needs us out so he can divert the national wealth to social, not military uses.

Wise move.

Trump's black swan event was the virus, and it helped get him booted out

Biden's facing something similar, and it will at least devastate the mid-terms... if it is of your own doing, I don't think you can call it a black swan though
