But doesn't like being called a liar.

The mods need to know about this.

At WoV calling someone a liar will get you suspended.

If that is not the case here at DT, i.e. if the rules are different then let us know, and I'll soon start calling posters liars when I deem it appropriate to do so.

The solution is not to lie about facts.
AMS has a hard time with that.
Opinions & takes are one thing, but lying about facts gets you called what you are.

That is not the point.

The point is getting clarification from the mods as to whether calling someone a liar is or is not acceptable.

You called him a liar and have not been suspended; I want to see what the mods do about it.

Not because I think you deserve to be bounced; rather "for future reference."

I want to know whether I'll get bounced for calling someone a liar (there's a lot of lying going on here).

I actually don't think there is a lot of lying about provable facts going on here.
Lots of slanted takes, but AMS crossed the truth line.
He knows it & won't admit it and claims his feelings were hurt.
What is hilarious is the fact he thought he would need to preserve the evidence.
I stand behind what I type.
As soon as he admits that he lied about facts, I'll drop it.

Here is the first definition of lie (as a noun) from dictionary.com:

a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.

Even if your claim is true, it doesn't mean AMS is deliberately deceiving people.
