As long as it’s a direct quote from me I have no problems with it. Thank you for helping get the truth out there! “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

missedhervee Member since: Apr 23, 2021 Threads: 96 Posts: 3103 | The mods need to know about this. At WoV calling someone a liar will get you suspended. If that is not the case here at DT, i.e. if the rules are different then let us know, and I'll soon start calling posters liars when I deem it appropriate to do so. Can I get away with it or not? Time for a mod to weigh in ... |

JCW09 Member since: Aug 27, 2018 Threads: 12 Posts: 847 | The solution is not to lie about facts. AMS has a hard time with that. Opinions & takes are one thing, but lying about facts gets you called what you are. Def. of Liar - "A Person Who Tells Lies" / "I lied. Deal with it" - ams288 |

missedhervee Member since: Apr 23, 2021 Threads: 96 Posts: 3103 | That is not the point. The point is getting clarification from the mods as to whether calling someone a liar is or is not acceptable. You called him a liar and have not been suspended; I want to see what the mods do about it. Not because I think you deserve to be bounced; rather "for future reference." I want to know whether I'll get bounced for calling someone a liar (there's a lot of lying going on here). |

Seems more he called him out than called him a liar. The President is a fink. |

JCW09 Member since: Aug 27, 2018 Threads: 12 Posts: 847 | I get your point. I guess we'll find out if lying about facts matters around here. Time will tell and I am willing to take this one to the judge to set precedent :-). I actually don't think there is a lot of lying about provable facts going on here. Lots of slanted takes, but AMS crossed the truth line. He knows it & won't admit it and claims his feelings were hurt. What is hilarious is the fact he thought he would need to preserve the evidence. I stand behind what I type. As soon as he admits that he lied about facts, I'll drop it. I am still waiting..... Def. of Liar - "A Person Who Tells Lies" / "I lied. Deal with it" - ams288 |

I am jealous, my wife is deathly allergic to shellfish so I can never order it unless she isn't with me. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

Personal insult. Here is the first definition of lie (as a noun) from dictionary.com: a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood. Even if your claim is true, it doesn't mean AMS is deliberately deceiving people. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |
