You don't know much about dementia. You can't reason with them because they are beyond that. You can't tell them the truth because they won't understand and you will upset them. My understanding of dementia is a person can come in and go out of mental focus.

As the stages progress, less of the coming into mental focus occurs.

For example, if he didn't recall who Zelensky was at one point in time, he might know who he was at another point in time.

I literally just watched a 15 minute piece by Smerconish on CNN about RFK jr, right before seeing this post. He also did an hour interview with him, but i haven't seen that.

He's definitely left.

But seems to have a good heart.
