I think there are very few technologies where other countries are significantly ahead of the U.S. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

The best way to encourage this would be to reduce the capital gain tax to zero. Alas you keep voting for people who want to raise it. The President is a fink. |

What happened to my RCA tv? What happened to my Chevy and Ford for awhile Japan started selling us their cars for a good period there. Do we have any American made phones any longer? They're not even being designed here. Or maybe apple is. that's about 40% foreign made though. How come a lot of doctors have come from other countries? Why do keep I keep hearing a number of breakthroughs in the science world from foreign countries? This above is probably not completely accurate. But it's what I came up with offhand. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

It's $20 billion a year, not $20 billion a day you complete moron. Go find a blue state to live in and take one of their reading and mathemetics classes. |

And most likely store all their wealth in offshore banks while avoiding taxes. Fine, if that's your goal. But don't lie to the American people you're going to screw saying it's great for most of them. And yet, they yell socialism with the least bit of decent regulation. Manufacturing is much cheaper elsewhere but most of the technology still comes from the U.S. I think 80% of high end computer chips are made in Taiiwan but those chips are still mainly designed in the U.S. The U.S. auto unions will probably go on strike tonight yet they are still paid more than 3x what auto manufacturing costs in the rest of the world. I am all for people getting the most they can, but clearly those jobs will eventually end up where there is cheaper labor. I believe Vizio was the last large company making TV's in the U.S. but even they have started manufacturing in Taiwan. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

Read that part wrong. Makes even less sense though with your 1 trillion a year number. And still not a handout to the rich like ev subsidies. The President is a fink. |
