I suggest have one convoy of tankers per day make the trip, escorted / screended by a group of Allied warships and aircraft armed to the teeth. Not only could we shoot down all incoming missiles, with our tech we could immediately find the location that the Houthi's launched from and quickly destroy it. |

Anything would be better than blatantly ignoring these attacks the way the Biden administration has been doing since the attacks started. They finally did something but this should have happened long ago. You cannot accept anyone attacking your Navy. Shipping needs to be protected. A similar type of attack earlier would have gone a long way towards setting the tone. Or we can just pay much more shipping stuff the long way around. A little more inflation won't be a big deal, right? |

DoubleGold Member since: Jan 26, 2023 Threads: 30 Posts: 2506 | I read Austin was accidentally hit by a missile in Ukraine. Can anyone verify that? Maybe JAG picked him up and he's in Gitmo. -------------------- Austin, Lloyd March 9, 2021 . . . Lloyd Austin became the first Black secretary of defense after the Senate confirmed him to the post on Jan. 22, 2022. Austin served in the U.S. Army from 1975 to 2012. During his stint as head of U.S. Forces in Iraq, Austin reportedly befriended President Joe Biden's son, Beau. Austin was then nominated to become the Army's vice chief of staff. Just a year later, then-President Barack Obama tapped Austin to head up U.S. Central Command. After the election of former President Donald Trump in 2016, Austin left the public sector and assumed positions on the corporate boards of steel manufacturing giant Nucor Corporation, Tenet Healthcare and United Technologies, which merged with defense contractor Raytheon Company in 2020. The merged corporation, Raytheon Technologies, is among the top five top lobbying spenders in the defense sector and spent almost $11 million on lobbying in 2020. Austin earned seven figures from the defense companies. Austin stepped down from all three board positions following his nomination in 2020. Prior to joining the Biden administration, Austin worked alongside fellow cabinet member Antony Blinken at Pine Island Capital Partners, a private equity firm investing in defense companies that touted its access to Washington. . . . https://www.opensecrets.org/revolving/rev_summary.php?id=82688 ----------------- BREAKING: Potential Biden Officials’ Firm Is Promising Big Profits Off Administration Access 11.28.2020 . . . The financial relationship between Blinken, Flournoy, Austin and Pine Island could in theory be detailed as part of the Senate confirmation process. However, government ethics regulations allow that information to be concealed if nominees assert that they signed non-disclosure agreements with counterparties. . . . https://jacobin.com/2020/11/breaking-potential-biden-officials-firm-is-promising-big-profits-off-administration-access ---------------- |

I suspect the Biden admin is more focused on readying a missile attack on Mar a Lago. Presidents have total immunity in murdering their rivals, haven’t you heard?! “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

I think Biden admin is stealthier than that. Probably makes sure Donald always gets extra-large fries from McDonalds. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |
