Conspiracy theories begin.

Especially since the backup emergency power generator also failed soon after it kicked in.
This happens to homeowners too, a lot it seems, a factor which has given me great pause before going out and purchasing one of those

Why would you have a terrorist attack at 1:27am during a weekday at such a low travel time?

Because the believers of these conspiracies are about as bright as the bridge pedestal.

Back-up generators on these ships are supposed to be tested twelve times a year.

The ship was cited for a deficiency related to “propulsion and auxiliary machinery" last June. The ship was not detained and it passed US inspection in September.

Looks as though they dropped the ball again.

Logan was wrong about a pilot not being on board.

The B/U generator provides power to the electrical systems, but not the propulsion systems.

The same ship hit a dock and was damaged in Belgium several years ago. It is possible that a cyber attack could have shutdown the power.

Even after they remove the old bridge and access to the port is resumed most of the port traffic went over that bridge. Baltimore is one of the major ports on the East coast and is now impacted for years. Even if this wasn't an attack it might give the enemies of the US ideas.

Is there any location that a similar attack could bottle up a significant portion of the Naval Fleet?

No doubt, big boats running into things is a concern for HLS. Just no evidence this was the cause. Investigation is hardly done yet though.

There was terrorist/hostage cruise ship thing back in the 70s? They even made a TV movie about it. Guy in a wheelchair was either shot or pushed overboard.

That was the Achille Lauro hijacking in 1985. Leon Klinghoffer was the passenger shot and murdered and dumped overboard.

Senator Fetterman impressive Fox interview. Probably won't be seeing him on MSNBC or CNN any time soon.

As long as he didn't say he wants Trump as President; that's a definite and permanent no-go. I'd assume he's severely brain damaged if he did that.
