Why could they not? My CAR can do much of that. The tanks have batteries and an alternator, just charge a battery for the electronics. The President is a fink. |

I am not a tank expert. I do know there is no reason that while sitting they could not run their electronics. Making them a hybrid would make no difference there as it is just a bigger battery. Battery operation would be more silent but in a tank battle I am not sure that matters much and doubt battery range would be much either. The President is a fink. |

I believe the Abrams tanks are already at the high end of weight limits so adding more batteries would obviously increase the weight a lot At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |
