If the military allows folks that believe they are a different sex (gender dysphoria?) into the military, should they be issued a firearm and then be trained to kill people?

When the military chooses a person to kill others and to train other soldiers to kill, is being able to hear naturally, important?

If a person fires a weapon a million times to teach others to kill, does it affect hearing?

When a medical doctor prescribes psychological medicine to a veteran, can it alter the patient's view of the value of life?

Yeah, screw privacy and HIPA!

Here's the thing. Someone has some mild depression. Gets stamped "mental health issue." Loses her right to buy a gun.

The mental health thing is mostly a torjan horse for the gun grabbers.

It is not HIPPA violation because the patient consents to release by filing the purchase request forms....

No that is not true at all. Even if you get prescribed meds for most of your life that is not true. It is about involuntary commitments or adjudicated as mentally deficient -usually as a defense plea, like, "I killed them, but I am too insane to understand my actions," (which is extreme, like over 99% of people who seek mental health help will never be anywhere near that level.....) If a Court orders that you need to go to a hospital, you probably don't need to be buying a gun.

To be "sane enough" to buy a gun is an extremely low bar in America, basically don't be forced into a mental hospital for a long period of time, and don't use the insanity defense during a trial where you committed violence and it will never effect you.... And, if either if these apply to you, I think it is good that you cannot buy a gun (at least for many years, I am fine with screenings over the course of many years to "clear" somebody for the case of hospitalizations -not for insanity defense-)

So Card shot himself and was found not too far from the place he was recently fired from.

Gotta wonder how "messed up" one has to be to get fired from a recycling center?

He, 'Shot himself.' Military training; no muss, no fuss death by suicide after taking great pains to escape. It seems a bit convenient.

Allegedly they have a suicide letter, but I can't find a record if they published it anywhere.

Maine is a solidly blue state. Democrats control the office of the governor and both chambers of the state legislature. They could easily pass strong gun control legislation, but the state doesn't even have s a “red-flag law” that would allow law-enforcement officials or relatives to try to have weapons taken away from individuals who are viewed as posing a danger to themselves or others.

Nineteen dead later, the state leaders say they're going to address their weak gun laws.

I thought Republicans oppose States that adopt Red Flag laws because a single officer can bar somebody from buying a gun at their word?

(Personally, I think Red Flag laws are good and need to be expanded for both guns and driving licenses.)

Because the gun did everything, not the person.

In other words, he would not be deranged if a Biden supporter.
