For a future Democrat election campaign, it could be anyone's guess. I'd guess Gavin or Hillary. I don't know Gavin but the Democrats seem to love the Clintons. |

Yeah, I don't think they're going to reach over to Kennedy, nor the Democrat who is running, because too few people know him. Harris will immediately be sworn in though. So, that's still a factor, and at the very least an awkward factor. So far, looks like my prediction Biden wouldn't make it through 4 years for health or death is not coming true. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Not that it can produce a candidate like trump, (absurd enough the first time) but that neither party can find a youthful electable candidate with a mix of integrity, vigour and useful skillset. You should have some 300 million from which to find a bunch of super fit, super electable, intelligent, honest hard working candidates. Where are they? The Dems seem to be particularly useless, in that the best candidates they could find were Clinton and Biden. Where's there Plan B for 2024? Are your house of Representatives members really representative of your society? Biden will NOT be your next President. If we take that as a given, who will? |

Sure he was. His criteria was a black female. He said it outright. I can imagine Harris as POTUS. Would have the Marine guards chanting "ALL WE OWE, WE OWE HER.....ALL WE OWE, WE OWE HER....." The President is a fink. |

| Gandler Member since: Aug 15, 2019 Threads: 27 Posts: 4256 | I think it is pretty clear they are positioning Newsom to be the natural successor (I mean all these debates they are setting up with they are barely hiding the ball at this point), whether that ends up being this election or next remains to be seen. I can only see Harris becoming the next President if Biden runs again, wins, and then steps down for whatever reason. But, I cannot see her becoming President on her own. Personally, I think Harris is fine, but she just does not poll well, so the public does not seem to like her (which matters for elections.) |
