You haven't really begun working out regularly again when you managed 4 workouts last week, you're only trying to. It's when you manage two months with a minimum of 4 20-minute workouts per week that you can say to have started to work out again.

Google has changed its logo. Can the apocalypse be far behind?

Is there any value in money that doesn't exist anymore? I have a bit; some lire, some Spanish pesetas, some Brazilian cruzietas (sp?), some ptas, and some from Yugoslavia that I dunno what it's called because I can't read it. Is there any point in holding on to this?

Check out numismatic sites. largely it depends on condition, desirability and scarcity. Alas, if you know anything about inflation, you know banknotes are not usually scarce.

In my experience , every time I've opened my wallet and found it empty leads me to conclude the answer is no.

Oh, if the currency in question hasn't been demonetized, usually the country's central bank will exchange it for face value with currency in use.

Mexico has not demonetized any currency in decades. So if you have a 10,000 peso bill from 1993 or prior, you can exchange it for 10 current pesos (the currency dropped three zeros in 1993, briefly taking on the moniker "New peso.")

I suppose European countries did demonetize old money when they joined the Euro. Either way, how could anyone calculate the current value of the Lira to the Euro, or the Dollar for that matter? There is no market for Lira anymore.

One daring soul submitted to a bank in the sixties some weimar republic deutsch Mark note of 500,000 marks enough in the early thirties for a small loaf of bread and almost got it paid at the then current exchange rate for new marks.

It surprises me. I often forget this, but maybe more often than not, using google to find what you are looking for at any particular website is better than using their own search function.

Just got reminded of this with the Virginia game and fish site. But this can even be true of Amazon dot com and others.

I give a pass to sites like this, after all here and WoV smartly just uses google for their search function anyway. But Amazon? They're trying to sell stuff, come on!
