But that is the norm today. Particularly actresses all had their first screen credit before or shortly after puberty. One third of the best actress winners were under the age of 30, and only Adrian Brody won the Best Actor before the age of 30 (he was oly 3 weeks from his birthday). Marlon Brando was exactly 30 when he won. Jackie Coogan in 1921 (uncle Fester in later life) made a fortune as a kid ; an estimated $3 to $4 million ($48 million to $65 million adjusted for 2012 dollars), and his mother and stepfather spent it all.  |

It came in dribs and drabs and people think it will last far longer than it does. They probably meant well, but it didn't work out like they thought. It never does.. If you take a risk, you may lose. I'm with you on this one. I knew he was gay before watching this, but nothing he said or did in the first minute or so jumped out and said "I am gay"...he has some effeminate mannerisms, but that doesn't necessarily define someone as being "gay." There would be a lot more gay folks if everyone with any kind of mannerisms linked to the opposite sex normally was gay... |
