Off topic, but... There was some woman (forgot her name) who worked as (I think) a nurse. In Germany. In the '40's. This woman kept a tally of names and assisted in sneaking kids out of the camps, with hopes to get them reunited after the s#$% went down. It is estimated that she helped rescue some 2,500 kids from the camps, though obviously not many of the reunions were ever possible. Still... that's quite the CV when it comes to humanitarianism. She was up for the Nobel Peace Prize. She lost to Algore, because he showed a slide show. Seems like the Nobel today is in the same category as a degree from Phoenix. Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |
