I can believe this.
Another forum I participate on provides a list of all users (registered and guests) and some other minor details about what system they are using etc. Probably 3/4 would be bots just trawling the site.

the worst can be real people posting nonsense such as those who protested their hidh school curriculum with such statements as 'I can't balance a chechbook, but I know that mitochondria are powerhouse of the cell.' all those statements annoyed me when I was researching mitochondria.

I think I have had sick leave in just one of the past 10 or so years. What I cannot stand is people who call off for the slightest thing. One woman once complained that 10 days PTO a year was "not enough." I told her that is calling in sick almost once a month.

So do I. I did just two weeks ago, pushed until I literally dropped and almost needed to call my mom to get me home. I ended up out half the week.

It's just the supreme mental deficiency if it all. Run a perpetual skeleton crew, run the wheels off us, then act shocked when we all start dropping. If I started throwing hammers at them, 80% would be too stupid to duck, and 100% of that 80 would be too stupid to feel it anyway.
