Your pro-abortion views have you confused. Guns do not kill people. Abortions do but guns do not.

We just want it to be easy for people to protect themselves. If gun laws work then why is Chicago with its anti-gun laws not absent of gun violence?

We just want it to be easy for people to protect themselves.

Really. If you were in charge of a small community would you want the guns distributed equally among all the people there, or would you prefer to avoid giving them to troublemakers prone to violence?

If a criminal comes to your house, do you want to make sure it's a fair fight. That every one has an easier access to guns. That he got his gun as easy as you with a red state law?

Yup, the guns in Chicago mostly were originally brought from outside.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Then punish the people bringing them in. Taking guns away from law abiding citizens will not stop criminals from getting guns or using them in crimes.

Criminals will be criminals. Lock them up. Lock them up longer each time the offend. No bail for gun injury crimes.

Be a little tough.

I would want any non-criminal to easily be able to purchase a gun. The more people with guns the less gun crime there tends to be. See, criminals prefer to attack unarmed people vs. taking a chance at getting shot by a person who has a legal gun under a "red state gun law."

I want to have a gun against a criminal who was not smart enough to bring one. But as Chicago shows, gun laws do not matter to criminals.

But there are strong anti-gun laws there! Are you saying some people are breaking the law to get guns to commit crimes? That they do not care about going to prison while the average citizen cannot legally have a gun to protect themself?
The President is a fink.

i'm not advocating for any particular gun law, but don't understand the premise of reducing them for everyone either. Even a would-be prison warden who believed giving prisoners knives to reduce prison violence wouldn't see any merit in allowing the violent ones to have one as well.

Right now most people think Ukraine is the side that needs weapons. But no one who believes that thinks it should be easier for everyone to have weapons, because the Russians would use that as well.

If we enforce the laws and “Red Flag” situations, once people were identified with violence or violent intentions on top of being a nut job, we could punish the criminals more and more severely.

It will never be perfect.

We should do real background checks; I am okay with it taking a day or two. The current one is processed very quickly…not sure how thorough of a check it really is overall.

The government does not to know how many guns I have but they do need to know that I am not a person that is a felon or part of another excluded group.

New York State has a red flag law that puts nut cases like Gendron, into a database to prevent them from obtaining a gun.

He spent a day and a half in the hospital for psychological evaluation after threatening to shoot up his high school last June, but his name was never entered into the red flag database, to prevent him from passing a background check.

He was able to purchase his weapons legally, because of this.

The only laws they enforce in this state are traffic violations.

The smart states have just made it illegal to shoot people.

Its also illegal to run over people, but you still need to pass a bunch of tests and go through training periods to get a driver's license (in my opinion not enough, but that is another issue).

In most States its easier to buy a gun legally than it is to drive a car legally (assuming you are starting from scratch and have no licenses for either).

Shooting at Taiwanese church in California that killed 1, wounded 5 investigated as hate crime, FBI says

"A Las Vegas man suspected in Sunday’s shooting that left one person dead and five others injured at a meeting of Asian churchgoers in Southern California was motivated by political tensions between China and Taiwan, authorities said Monday."

A real hero in the church rushed the gunman & in the process of tackling him was fatally shot.
His actions encouraged others to follow suit.
The other church goers hog tied the a$$hole with an extension cord before the Police arrived.
This hero saved countless lives.
Dr. John Cheng - Hero

The a$$hole had chained/secured doors to the church from the inside.
It appears his intent was to trap & kill everyone inside, 30-40 church goers.
Due to Dr. John Cheng's actions, only one person died on Sunday, it could have been much worse.

Look for more churches to have armed security teams like this one
(This video is not for the faint of heart):
White Settlement Church
This team didn't do it completely right, but a head shot from 12-15 yards in the moment is impressive.
Two people died, it would have been much worse were it not for the armed members of the congregation.

Training, Training, Training.
Including with situational video scenarios like the following;
Virtra System
The system is incredible! An operator changes the scenario in real time based on your commands & actions.
Your heart is racing and you are stressed.
There is an electric shock system that activates when you get shot.
You have no idea where the next threat will come from.
Some situations require you not to shoot.
That being said, nothing can completely simulate a real scenario.
But Virtra seems really close to reality, particularly when it comes to decision making.

So yes, take up arms. It is your Constitutional Right for a reason.
Carry everyday unless your Local Gestapo has attempted to outlaw doing so.
Not to worry as the SCOTUS will soon be taking care of that issue.
If you choose to stay vulnerable, at lease get out of the way.
And for God's sake, quit infringing on the rights of those that may one day save your life.

This is the world Trumpers want. A world where churches must be armed to the teeth to survive

This coming from someone that can't deal with any world, fantasy or reality, without anxiety meds.
