Somebody please inform AMS that I have blocked him again about a week ago. I see he always posts immediately after I do so I assume his posts about me but I never read them so I'm just assuming.

I'm sure he's going to lose sleep over it.

You must be joking. You really think in your wildest dreams that if Trump's military advisors had told him to leave 2500 troops there and to get all the civilians out he would have totally ignored it and done exactly what Biden did? You didn't pay much attention when Trump was President did you.

Yes, I have about 10 reasons I can think of without even looking up or thinking hard about it. Trump had a long history of ignoring military advisors on a variety of issues from military policy to foreign involvement.... In fact he was pretty much known for ignoring advisors (especially on military issues)....

I am actually surprised your gut reaction would be he would definitely listen to his advisors...

Remember this is a guy who said, “I know more about ISIS than the generals do, believe me,”, and at the time he said this I would be impressed if he knew what "ISIS" stands for (and he definitely does not know what the Levant is).

Anyway, I suggest "Holding the Line" by General Mattis (Trumps Sec of Defense, and world renown Marine General) if you think Trump is good at listening to military advice. Trump used to be a huge Mattis fan and praised him endlessly, until Mattis said negative things, now suddenly "he is a dope" (but again that is pretty much how everyone is treated by Trump).

Cite a few times he ignored military advisors, please. Other than not starting a war because they wanted to.

Iran Deal, Afganistan (multiple times X3), tranagender ban, putting out orders on social media before direct relay, Syria, not helping Kurds, NATO funding threats, canceling training events in South Korea, meeting with North Korea, canceling, military parades.

I think that is over 10 without even having to think hard.

Again, I recommend General Mattis's book for more in depth look at how even the Sec of Defense was treated....

None sound very serious.

Keeping mentally ill transgenders out is just common sense. To ignore advice to allow them in is just smart.

Most of the rest worked out just fine. A POTUS does not blindly just listen to what the military says to do.

You are missing the point, he banned them via Twitter without informing the pentagon. This is sheer stupidiy. And, removing a group of people from the military who are already in, is a long and expensive task. I am not going to get into if they should or not have. been allowed in, because that is irrelevant (and your views will not change), its how he announced it.

So, you go from saying he would definitely follow military advice, to he routinely did not.... So why are you so sure he would listen this time? The answer is of course he would not, because this time his deal is on the line, and Trump does not like to back down....

And, yes some of those were very serious, especially Korea and Syria.

Syria has no real importance to USA interests. Getting and staying out is the best course of action. Korea is doing fine. Lefties did not like when Trump called him "Rocket Man" and did not like when he met him. Heck, they probably think him crossing the border was him "invading" N Korea.

He listened to the advisors, then made a decision.

Face facts, your boy Biden made a disaster out of leaving Afghanistan. He owns it 100%. History will show the world what an incompetent he is and what a disaster liberalism that drove him is. You can keep crying "TRUMP'S DEAL" all you like, it and the 13 dead military all all on Biden.

But do we expect anything more from a guy who thought skin color and gender were what to pick a VP on?

It's possible for two extremes to be wrong. Calling an unstable dictator with nuclear weapons "little rocket man" and saying "my button is bigger" is stupid and reckless. Sucking up to him is also stupid. There is reason sane Presidents on both sides don't do either extreme.... Its possible to just ignore him, you don't go from one extreme to the other literally the following year....

Canceling long planned training events in South Korea involving multiple countries and tens of thousands of people is also stupid for reasons that should be obvious. Doing so to appease a dictator is just lame....

It was Trump's deal and it was stupid then and stupid now. (like virtually everything Trump does). Trump made a deal with the Taliban (something no sane President would even consider)..... And, shocker they are not abiding by it (and no, if Trump was in office they would still be ignoring it....)

But, I agree Biden owns it, which was my point in my OP, I never disputed it. I even called the thread "Biden' Biggest Blunder" to make this very clear from the start.

Biden should have ripped up the deal and stayed. Probably the biggest error Biden will make. We expect Trump to be an idiot, Biden is supposed to clean up his mess.

Really? President Trump ignored military advisors for all those examples on your list? Please cite references where this happened. No source = it didn't happen.
