It sounds like Moscow is under a pretty big drone attack right now. Probably won't get many details until tomorrow afternoon.

It sounds like it was the electrical and oil infrastructure around Moscow. Should hear more later today and tomorrow. If they can kill the power to Moscow the people will revolt. Moscow hasn't really experienced any f the negative effects of the war so far.

I learned something today but it has nothing to do with Ukraine but this seems like the best thread.

Our ICBM arsenal that is always depicted in the movies with guys underground necessary to turn the key to launch is not a requirement. Apparently we always have an airplane flying that has the key sequence for all of our ICBMs and it can launch them from the air. That was news to me from a former officer of the ICBM missile command.

A first.

I'd say it shows how complicated the world situation is. Not necessarily how successful Ukraine will be in the end.

I agree, Ukraine still has an uphill battle on their hands. It looks like they may lose Pokrovsk shortly which would be a major hit.

It'd be interesting to know what the US and other countries are doing behind the scenes though. The war on the surface is one thing. But there is likely another level.

I agree, I would love to know what the actual discussions are. My guess is the U.S. is very happy with the way it is going now. A long protracted war is great for the U.S. and NATO.

That too, but I was thinking more militarily. They could be digging tunnels under Russia so Ukrainians could pop up on the other side well into Russia territory. Things along that line. I know we're likely using AWACS but so do the Russians.
