Zelensky is 5' 7" tall.

Meanwhile Russia would have the time dig-in and reinforce the territory they already hold making it even harder to get back later. Also Ukraine has to be able to keep up with Russia on rearming and supplies if the cease fire breaks.

Putin has no interest in ending the war. He wants all of Ukraine and all the rich farmland that provides produce for western Europe, plus the rich supply of rare earth minerals and metals the US needs.
