I agree. That post was in support of your argument. You used the word "stupidity" though. I don't think it has to do with intelligence level. But I think the 33% is a good number. It's like a water mark. |

But Biden Flubbed the debate far more than drumph did. drumph even held back on his childish jibes and actually behaved a little maturely. It was pretty clever of him, how he played it. Biden could hardly have looked more senile. Lost vote and shredded his own chance of re-election. Nothing drumph presented made him look a worthy candidate, but it was a competition and drumph prevailed. The Dems need to get their proper candidate in place and they are probably out of time. |

I think they are awaiting polls through next business week at least. Granted a good debate performance doesn't guarantee any long-term result, but I can see how a catastrophic one could in some cases be a game ender. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

By his "words' I mean mostly his numerous overblown claims. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

I said it in the first post I made about this. I thought Biden did a pretty good job way better than I expected. He was coherent most of the time, he remembered things that Trump said previously in the debate, he put his thoughts together in the right order many times. Of course he's stumbled and bumbled and mumbled but he always does that. He had lots of blank looks on his face but he always does that. It's the same Joe Biden we've been seeing for 3 years. But that's the thing, half the country has never seen this guy because they never watch Fox News and they don't watch right-wing podcasts where we get to see the real Joe Biden. All they ever saw was the cleaned up videos and last night there was subjected to Joe Biden uncensored and the average Democrat came unglued. They had no idea he was that far gone. So of course the entire left-wing press had to start singing the same song because they were found out now, they've been lying for 3 years. And they didn't like it, I thought Joe Scarborough was going to have a freaking heart attack when he said Joe has to go. LOL My prediction is he's not going anywhere because his wife won't let him and he doesn't want to. The absolute best thing for Trump is that Joe stick it out right to the end and if he doesn't want to go you can't get rid of him unless you use the 25th Amendment and the Democrats would never do that. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

This may be the oddest take here. His wife is going to make him run again? Why would she care? But, he really did better than expected? |

If you pay attention you will see that everybody and I mean everybody says that Jill runs the show. She makes all the decisions for him because he's not capable of making them. If she wanted him to drop out, he would drop out. She actually believes he has a chance of winning and she can be first lady for four more years. You hear this everywhere from people who know them. And yes in my mind he did way better than I expected. He screwed up a lot but he was pretty cogent for most of the 90 minutes. He knew what was going on, he remembered things from the past correctly, he had a pretty good grasp of some current events. Of course he's still a befuddled old man but not as bad as I thought he was. This is why I was totally in shock when I watched CNN and every single one of them was now against Biden. It had to be planned because he didn't have a single person there who defended him. I heard exactly the same thing today from one of the guys I listen to on his podcast. He thought Biden did better than expected and he turned on MSNBC and was totally surprised at what they were saying. How they wanted him to drop out. This whole thing was planned a long time ago, obviously. Nobody could figure out why team Biden wanted a debate two months before the convention. That's never happened before in history. They wanted it so they could replace Joe at the convention because he was a disaster in the debate. They knew he would be a disaster because they know him, they deal with him everyday. Kevin McCarthy said today that a year ago he tried to negotiate in private with Biden and all Joe wanted to talk about was cars. You could not get him to discuss National affairs. Other people did that for him. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
