Well, if you're voting for Trump as an answer to any Biden issues, I'd personally say, you've driven out of the ditch into the Grand Canyon. It may be the other choice, but not a solution.

Since I know black people who believe that, to say what Trump said could be resonating in that community

In the past discomfort with the Dem candidates makes them stay home, they won't vote at all

PS what a stupid article! Pretending to think that 'black jobs' would mean set-aside jobs for black people. Black people know what it means to lose jobs to immigrants. Or perhaps we can also pretend that our Af/Ams don't populate lower paying jobs to a greater degree

One of the worst statements Joe Biden made was talking about how he was the second youngest Senator of all time when elected (this is debatable, because there do appear to be some Senators in their 20s prior to 1830 when apparently the age requirements were either not enforced or not in place yet,) but certainly of modern senators, he timed it perfectly to get elected right at 30. But, when he was running in 1972 he was a young hotshot who would turn 30 just in time, and everyone loved him (DE was a red State at the time, and he was still popular.) When you look at the difference now, it is night and day, so even though most people do not remember, it is probably not great to show such a contract. He went from being made fun of by some for being too young, and not the opposite.

that is not the issue

the suggestion or implication is that black people can't do or are not interested in high level jobs

that low level jobs are the kind of jobs that black people want to do

and there is no shortage of low level jobs in the big cities or suburbs - where I live, a suburb of a big city there are signs everywhere enticing applicants for low level jobs - it is the higher level jobs that so many people want that are much more difficult to land

it would have been an appropriate remark for 1958 - not for 2024

the black VP Candidate Kamala Harris is way, more educated and way, way smarter than him

Cool cover actually. All Democrats need to do is decide if we’re taking a gamble one way or the other. Stay the course, or replacement? Either choice will be better than Trump.

If Biden is really deteriorating fast, they better come out with it soon. No way we can keep hiding it for 4 months if it’s true. If not, guess we have no choice in my opinion to enact a change.. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes, if that turns out to be the only realistic option, so be it.
