You miss the point that most (almost most?) Americans believe that Trump was solely prosecuted for political reasons.

You’ve been brainwashed by constant rightwing drumbeat since the verdict. Now more people probably falsely believe the same thing, but not when it was fresh.

Washington, DC, May 31, 2024 – The latest survey from Reuters/Ipsos, which began fielding following the announcement of a guilty verdict in the New York criminal trial against Donald Trump regarding hush money payments, shows that a majority of Americans believe the prosecution was about upholding the rule of law and not politically motivated

Here’s another one.

Quote:
WASHINGTON – A majority of Americans think it would be “wrong” for Donald Trump to have the Justice Department drop federal charges against him if he wins back the White House, according to a new USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll.

pending cases, including whether they think Trump should and will be convicted in each case and what the timing of these trials should be as it relates to the election. For each of the four cases, Americans are more likely to think Trump should be convicted than to think he will be.

Sorry doc, but that sort of cherry picking isn't supposed to exist in America, i.e. the idea that one can pick and choose whether to accept the legality of a felony conviction.

But then again the Flim Flam Man, aka The Teflon Don dodges yet another bullet.

Absurdity running amuck: I gotta love it as a retired attorney: this simply shows that he IS "above the law," a thing once deemed to be impossible.

Whatever.

You miss the point that most (almost most?) Americans believe that Trump was solely prosecuted for political reasons. They witnessed the Democrats wasting TIME and MONEY impeaching him twice when there was a ZERO chance of conviction. After that debacle, wannabee Democrat ladder climbers started sharpening their fangs going after Trump’s jugular. Americans, INCLUDING traditional Democrats like released criminals, African Americans, etc…. are aware of prosecutorial overreach. They saw the documents charges, and also saw the Biden similarities. But no charges.

So he’s a felon to all those who just hate him, and not a felon to those that don’t. I just got a mortgage and had to value a bunch of things. If overestimated something I hope I don’t become a felon.

If you did it intentionally, you just may be. If you overvalued your property to get a good rate, but undervalued to get a break on property taxes, is that or should it be against the law?

I’d say it’s the other way around. You’ve been brainwashed by the constant left wing drumbeat that he is a real criminal.

I DO NOT believe had he been your run of the mill billionaire doing the same things that there is ANY chance the rabid Democrat prosecutors would have gone after him criminally.
Frankly, anyone who does believe that he would have been prosecuted if he wasn’t SPECIFICALLY Donald Trump is just seeing what they WANT to see even if it isn’t there.

Perfect analogy the documents mishaps. Biden just told ‘don’t do it again’ because he is Biden, not Trump.

Trump is generally a bad man. On so many levels. The libbies thought they could stop him with the endless prosecutions. How did that work out for them?

Unfortunately for you, there's not a single Democrat prosecuted, that I don't agree with the verdict political or not. A crime is a crime. There's a trial and there's a verdict. If Trump's case is overturned under the proper legal actions, I'm fine with that. If other verdicts were overturned, I'm fine with that also.

If you're talking about the classified documents case, there's a big difference between Trump and every other President by several degrees. Maybe read up on it.

I wrote my Rep about why Bob Menendez was still on committees before he was even convicted. If you don't hold your side to at least some minimum standards, no one else will.

There apparently is no minimum standard for Trump.

How many Presidents have had a woman Chief of Staff? Apparently ZERO. Until now. Trump will be the first ever to help break that glass ceiling for women. Susie Wiles.

Susie's father was Pat Summerall.

Here's a pic of Frank Broyles and Pat in Little Rock before he passed away (Pat is on this side).

I've didn't meet Pat nor Susie but knew Frank.
