So (fortunately?) it doesn’t matter, but as of this morning, THREE days after the election, major news organizations are STILL not calling Arizona or Nevada for Trump yet! It seems to me that his lead is big enough that they can. And what gross incompetence by those two states that they can’t COUNT to a million. They just have to COUNT. No calculus. No figuring out when the must hit turns +EV. No adding to get an OPS! COUNT!!!!!!!!

Why can some states do it within a few hours and Arizona STILL hadn’t counted A QUARTER of their votes?

Why don’t we know who won the House yet? Those races the winner gets in the low 6 figures.

AZ votes mostly by mail and AZ laws prohibit counting early votes until Wednesday at the earliest. Coupled with the verifications that go along with early votes/mail-in votes, makes for slower process. Other states do it faster. Maybe AZ should adopt the rules used in other states.

Here's a thought: Will prospective employers now stop hiring folks with felony convictions?

How can it possibly be deemed a disqualification to flip burgers at McDonalds when multiple felony convictions do not bar a Trump from being president?

The employers (the voters) of the President elected not to disqualify the current President-elect.

McDonalds can also decide who they want to hire.

Some places hire people with felony convictions; some don't.

Sure, but my point, albeit a bit tongue in cheek, is that it is ridiculous and unfair to disqualify anyone for having a felony conviction if a felon can be elected president.

Yet here we are.

Perhaps having a better candidate, better policies, and not hiding the sad decline of the current President, while also making him the candidate, may have prevented this whole thing. He didn't get elected in a vacuum, millions of reasonable people thought that he was the best choice...even if they thought both choices were poor. Millions of reasonable people thought the she was a good choice.

Imagine. We could avoided this whole question!

Rules aren't the same everywhere. I do understand your point. I was not happy with any of the three people that ended up as major party candidates over the course of the campaign.

McDonalds does not need to worry about votes; they just need to sell hamburgers. Remember, they did employ the Hamburglar...so they don't ban all accused of crimes!

Newt Gingrich says his organization has been polling people since 2018 and 80% of the American people hate most of the wokies agenda. All that transgender crap and not knowing what your kids are going through in school, they hate all of it. And now the American people have spoken. Trump has the largest mandate in modern history and now the left has to live with it. All the stuff they tried in the last 8 years to get rid of him and none of it worked because the American people are smarter than that. Now people who seem to know what they're talking about are saying that this is going to change politics for the next 20 years. Obama and his minions who've been pulling the strings since 2008 are finally gone, poof. To the shock and horror of the lefties Trump is going down in history as one of the best presidents we've ever had. Certainly the biggest political comeback in the history of the country.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

I'd get JAG involved because of the possible two year time limit.

And definitely fill up Gitmo and see if they sing like a bird.

Make everyone of them take a mugshot.

It's either now or never.

There won't be another chance.

Round 'em up like cattle.

Yeehaw!

Trump Outlines Plan To Decimate The Deep State

NOV 08, 2024
.
.
.
1. “Immediately reissue my 2020 executive order, restoring the President’s authority to remove rogue bureaucrats.”

2. “Clean out all of the corrupt actors in our national security and intelligence apparatus.”

3. “Totally reform FISA courts which are so corrupt that the judges seemingly do not care when they’re lied to in warrant applications.”

4. “Expose the hoaxes and abuses of power that have been tearing our country apart.”

5. “Launch a major crackdown on government leakers who collude with the fake news to deliberately we false narratives and to subvert our government and our democracy.”

6. “Make every Inspector General’s office independent and physically separated from the departments they oversee so they do not become the protectors of the deep state.”

7. “Ask Congress to establish an independent auditing system to continually monitor our intelligence agencies to ensure they are not spying on our citizens or running disinformation campaigns against the American people, or that they are not spying on someone’s campaign like they spied on my campaign.”

8. “Continue the effort launched by the Trump administration to move parts of the sprawling federal bureaucracy to new locations outside the Washington Swamp.”

9. “Work to ban federal bureaucrats from taking jobs at the companies they deal with and that they regulate.”

10. “Push a constitutional amendment to oppose term limits on members of Congress.”

You miss the point that most (almost most?) Americans believe that Trump was solely prosecuted for political reasons. They witnessed the Democrats wasting TIME and MONEY impeaching him twice when there was a ZERO chance of conviction. After that debacle, wannabee Democrat ladder climbers started sharpening their fangs going after Trump’s jugular. Americans, INCLUDING traditional Democrats like released criminals, African Americans, etc…. are aware of prosecutorial overreach. They saw the documents charges, and also saw the Biden similarities. But no charges.

So he’s a felon to all those who just hate him, and not a felon to those that don’t. I just got a mortgage and had to value a bunch of things. If overestimated something I hope I don’t become a felon.

any non-partisan person who believes Trump's felony conviction was worth paying attention to must hear about Russian show trials that convict people like Navalny and say "wow that Russian must be a really bad person!"
