There are multiple charges in these cases, which would make it a lot more obvious if someone is going to nullify the jury. They might convict on some charges but not on others. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

true - but what does it matter if it's obvious_______?_____________the Trump lover won't care if he's obvious he can't be thrown off the Jury in the middle of a trial he can only be thrown off the Jury before the trial - and as I said before - he could easily conceal his true intentions at that time . the foolish sayings of a rich man pass for words of wisdom by the fools around him |

Yes and no. How would prosecutors KNOW they have sufficient evidence to convict beyond a reasonable doubt prior to the jury actually convicting someone beyond a reasonable doubt? I haven't dug too deeply into all of the charges against Trump, but the only one that meets sufficient proof and severity (in my eyes), based upon what I have seen so far, is the election interference charge in Georgia where he's pleading with the Secretary of State to, "Find him votes." Assuming this transcript: https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/03/politics/trump-brad-raffensperger-phone-call-transcript/index.html Is accurate, here are my problems in particular:
You can take that to court if you want to, but no sitting POTUS or Presidential candidate (with the authority of office or potential office behind them) should be attempting to directly influence the course and manner in which a state handles its own elections. That's for the state to do. If the Federal Government wanted to influence the manner in which a POTUS election is decided, and I really see no Constitutional reason why it couldn't (if appropriate laws were passed), then they could handle it by way of having a ballot separate from state election ballots and create a Federal oversight and verification committee specifically for Presidential Elections. In the meantime, each individual state has its own codified laws and procedures which are in place to regulate the conduct and verification of elections; the individual states, or their representatives, should not be contacted directly by POTUS or POTUS candidates for this reason and it is, at BEST, extremely inappropriate. Any POTUS or POTUS candidates should use the court system to effectuate these ends...not contact people directly who handle the elections. As far as the specific allegations that people couldn't vote as they were incorrectly told they already had, well, the problem is that the entire conversation is happening to begin with. If the conversation is legally permissible, then Trump is certainly allowed to lie. Here's Trump challenging whether or not people move sometimes:
Even if it had been, 'Just before the election,' it wouldn't matter provided the people moved back in time to vote in accordance with state law. And then Trump accuses the Secretary of State of wanting him to lose:
"I don't even know why you have a side...and you're a Republican." Classic.
He's literally threatening to go after a state official with criminal charges; this is the President of the United States directly, by the way. If this doesn't go my way:
People aren't going to vote for you again. The other stuff I don't really know and haven't made a deep dive into, but if it doesn't have more strength than the Impeachment grounds, I won't be convinced. I'm really not too worried about the classified documents thing because it reeks of taking any excuse they can get. I imagine many POTUS' of years past have improperly stored documents and had them in their possession. "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen..let us give them all they want." William T. I heard the real numbers are that Trump got 87% of the vote in California. If California hadn't fudged the numbers, that would have been enough to change the result by itself. "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen..let us give them all they want." William T. Sherman |

I don't know about all that. If it weren't true (what I wrote), there'd be no need to press charges against Trump. |

Just Trump running again is a headache I could do without. I legitimately want him to die, but I hope it's of natural causes. By himself, I don't even think Trump is even that bad. I just can't stand Trump's supporters, nor can I stand having to listen to the Far Left scream endlessly about him. Just have the election and see what happens like normal people, you know?
