If we had legitimate journalists reporting stories and not taking sides, President Biden would have been forced out of office or would never have been elected. The White House, Democrat Leaders, and the press covered up for him for years while gaslighting the entire country.

Is anyone on Fox doing that job now with Trump? How about Briebert and Newsmax? About the closest I can find is Brett Bair. And that's next to nothing. Hardly worth mentioning. Besides the fact that he's drowned out by all the other voices on those networks.

You may have a point, but there is virtually no improvement with Trump. He's tried to hire half Fox staff for that matter.

What is there to cover up for with Trump? All the lawfare cases have been shown for what they are. They guy has been in the public eye for over 40 years. He is an open book.

The Biden presidency will haunt the Democrat Party for a long time. People are not going to forget how he totally screwed up covid, gave us runaway inflation and treasonously opened the borders. He's far worse than Jimmy Carter ever was and after Carter left it was 12 years before there was another Democrat president. Might be longer this time, I'm guessing at least 16 years.

Is it that hard to just admit that journalism has taken a huge hit?

The President for the last almost four years has been a fellow named Biden. Biden, not Trump. The problem for the past four years has been the failure of supposed journalists to accurately cover the decline of the President.

I have no idea what will happen for the next four years. Trump could start to fail in the manner that Biden did. Whatever happens, that will be the news at that point...good or bad.

There are a few conservative outlets and they don't do a great job either. You do have to separate the news shows from the stuff like Hannity.

Biden is the President; he is the one the mainstream media has covered up for over the past four years. They'll be all over Trump like stink on crap. Just like always.

It could happen that way, but our memory has gotten shorter and I don't think the Dems are nearly as feckless as they might seem today. There is an election in two years and they could take over the House if the Republicans keep the infighting going and don't get things done that the people want. Once one of the chambers goes to the other party, it is hard to get things done.

Dems had a bad year, but they can rebound just as Republicans did.

"Missing in action" for what? It's Congress's job to get a budget passed. We had a bill. Donny tanked it, as well President-non-elect Elon. So that's Mike Johnson's and the GOP's problem to solve. Congress is now out adjourned. Good time for a vacation!
