He was 4-F. Lots of people are 4-F. When did he try to and get denied a security clearance? Why would he have needed one? How is he a "worse loser" than someone who is so mentally ill they do not know what gender they are? War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

Ok. Let’s say you are correct and a school administrator CAN prevent police entry without a warrant. I assume by your phrasing that means that same administrator CAN allow police entry without a warrant. Which gets to my main point again. That Democrat cities/districts/states will make it harder for the USA to round up and deport those here illegally. You cite ‘the expectation of privacy’. I don’t agree with you on that at all. I think it is totally reasonable for me to be required to submit to a search before entering a school. To provide valid ID before I enter a school. And once inside the school, to follow the rules of the school. If I’m in a ‘no talking’ area that trump’s my 1st amendment right to free speech, as an example. If the school requires me to prove I’m not in the country illegally, are you saying they are breaking some law? |

No and yes. Yes, lots of people were 4-F. No, Trump was NOT one of them. You really aren't paying attention, were you? Trump was 1-Y, not 4-F. Please try harder to keep up with the rest of the class. |

If making INS, CBP or whomever get warrants, have probable cause and follow the law and respect civil rights and due process makes "it harder to round up and deport those here illegally", so be it. Fine by me. Those are basic civil rights or due process protections that we all have.
If you are a student or a prospective student, yes. The school would be breaking the law, according to SCOTUS precedent. In 1982, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Plyler v. Doe that public schools cannot deny students an education because of their immigrant status, meaning that public schools are required to teach migrant children who enroll. If you are a parent or guardian, also yes. Plyler also states that the requirement to treat illegal immigrant the same as all the others extends to parents or guardians in the educational context. That means school can't ask student nor their parents or guardians immigration status. If you were a visitor such as a member of the community attending a school sporting event or a school play or whatever, I can't think of single rational basis for a school to ask your immigration status, and to bar you if you can't prove lawful presence in the US. I honestly don't know if they could or not. |

You were around as an adult just like I was during Vietnam. It was not a declared war, and it was not shameful to try to get out of going. Nobody absolutely nobody was saying we have to go defend the honor of the United states by getting killed in Vietnam. So a lot of guys did what they had to do to get out of going, who wouldn't. It was only much much later that it was looked at as the same thing as avoiding World War l or World War II. It was not. Vietnam was protested right from the very beginning. I had a high lottery number so I didn't have to go and believe me I probably would have done whatever I could do to get out of it. So if Trump or Clinton found a way out good for them. Doesn't make them cowards, make them smart. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

The Vietnam war was before my memories begin but I am assuming that if we sent troops to help Ukraine it would be looked at similarly. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Maybe or maybe not. The Gulf War was very, very popular. 12 years later the Iraq war less so. Americans will sign on if either we are attacked directly or/and the war is seen as being extremely just. They also have a very short attention span, if the Gulf War had dragged on it might have been less and less popular. The Gulf War was also the biggest action movie of all time. Controlled media coverage on our side, reports even if fake from the other side, behind enemy lines. All on then-new 24 hour news. Vietnam had no clear objectives and word kept getting back what a mess it was in every way. Before we realized we were involved it dragged 5 years. Pictures of civilians being attacked did not help. Imagine if we had on-the-ground pics from Dresden! Ukraine would have some support. Others, like myself, would be saying how tired of all of this we were and be very lukewarm to help a nation that is not a strong ally. But I do not think liberals would spit on returning troops like in Vietnam. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

Uh, no...I was a teen. Yeah, 'Nam was not a popular war and yeah, many folks refused to fight. You call them "smart" but I call them "draft dodging pieces of crap." Choose your own adjective. When your country calls a patriot answers and a pussy runs and hides. I see your true colors. |
