When I had the bar my bartenders made enough money in tips every month to pay all bills except for rent. Groceries, utilities, gas, tips paid for it all. They didn't think it was stupid at all not to have to pay taxes on their tips.

In Las Vegas many bartenders at local bars make over $100k a year.

With him wanting to become a crypto king it seems all concerns over emoluments and him profiting and making lots of money from having power are out the window this term.

Joints like that usually pay minimum wage with no benefits so they have to make a lot of tips. A good female bartender in New York City can make $75,000 a year or more. Men love tipping good looking women with big boobs who are bartenders.

Trump Returns Law and Order to the Border with ‘Catch and Return’ Policies

“’Catch and Release is over, it’s Catch and Return now. Migrants are now processed for Expedited Removal and sent back into Mexico or their home country immediately."

Hard to believe Trump's only been in office for six days, it feels like 6 weeks. Actually it feels like he never left. What we just went through for the last 4 years was so bad for the country it's hard to wrap your mind around it. But millions of people wanted it to continue. Are they out of their minds?

I believe in Nevada if you don't offer insurance you have to pay more than minimum wage. The best part for the bartenders is that most of the tipped income is not taxed. People also tip generously when they are not being charged for drinks.

You keep mentioning ICE needing a warrant. IT WASN’T ICE that was trying to gain access to the school! That was the point of my post a thousand pages back that started this. It was the Secret Service.

Even the USSS needs a warrant or permission to enter private property, or non-public forums, absent a warrant exception. That is partially why they were turned away at the door. Why don't you get this?

As a general concept, I like the idea of our local authorities trying to aid our federal authorities in stopping crime, arresting those that have committed them, deporting those here illegally, etc….
Democrats want criminals out on the streets easier due to ‘no bail’ rules, and want to hinder federal authorities from deporting those here illegally.

It’s maybe the biggest reason you have to say ‘President Trump’ instead of ‘President Harris’.

How many of YOUR civil liberties are you willing to give up for it to happen? Let me know when you let the cops, USSS, INS or whomever enter your home to search for illegals. I have no objection to enforcing the laws, but do it the right way. Do it the American way.

Searching a home is the same as searching a school? What are you? On dope?

I generally like civil liberties. But if one kid says another kid has a rifle, I want the cops to be able to search the first kids backpack/locker/desk IMMEDIATELY. Not to hang around for a few hours outside the school waiting for a warrant. Is it possible the first kid is just making it up? Absolutely! I trust the cops/secret service/sheriffs to use their judgment and training to go secure the area. If the kid has no rifle then you apologize.
You get a warrant to seize someone’s phone records
You get a warrant to get someone’s DNA.

If you are informed of a foreign national illegally in our country, you detain him or her. If it turns out that you are wrong, you apologize to the citizen or legally here foreigner. But you certainly don’t wait hours to try and get a warrant while the mobile illegal escapes.

Schools (especially public/gov schools) are actually the opposite of private and most public property. Kids (and really anything on the property,) can basically be searched for almost any reason by school staff (this does vary by State.) It kind of matters who does the searching (school staff can actually search more easily than the police, unless it is a school police officer -like an educational resource officer- and they are treated as school staff, how federal LE factors into this, I am honestly not sure, never heard of Federal LE coming in to search a school locker before...) However, a suspicion that a kid has a gun in school seems a pretty good reason to detain and search them under either circumstance.

I mean there are some schools that you and your bags get searched (kids, teachers, visitors, staff, everything,) every time you enter the building, almost like getting into an airport.

And that's not what happened here. There was no legal reason the USSS could enter that building without a warrant or permission. If the USSS had exigent circumstances, they would've entered that school despite what the administrators did or said. But they didn't, so they stayed outside. Just like they should. Just like the 4th Amendment says they must. Just like Federal courts says they must.

You get a warrant when the 4th Amendment says you must. You get a warrant when state and Federal courts say you must.

You follow the Constitution and the law, which protects against unreasonable search and seizure.

So do I. And that training also includes when they need a warrant and when they don't.
