Bill Clinton and Obama to name two have said they wanted to cut waste, Trump is actually doing it.

You can disagree with the majority of the country on this one. It’s WASTE.

As far as his Daytona whirl, I think it was ok. Seriously, the ENTIRE track was aroar for him. It was like his two sentences was a State of The Union address FOR THE PEOPLE, not the Congress.

Just like his donating his salary back is really symbolic, not really doing anything for the budget….. but it’s a GOOD symbol.

Coming out against his two laps is another good example of TDS. ‘Trump did something. Must be bad’

COnsidering Jack Kennedy did it first and Hoover before him, good for him. However being financially secure enough to be able to forgo the entirety of a Presidential salary should not be a qualification for President. George Washington tried to forgo his salary, but Congress made him take it. They didn't want to set the precedent that only rich people should be elected. Charitable contributions are good. Just don't turn them into performative nonsense.

49.8% of the American voters have been taken for suckers...which they are. If they get taken in by visits at the SB and a spin around Daytona, that's on them, and they deserve what they get.

And no, just because Elon doesn't like it, doesn't mean it's waste. Nobody elected Elon.
