ROTFL
Mamdani did not win because he's a Socialist
He won because the Republicans ran one of the worst candidates in the history of politics
7% Sliwa
You claim Harris was one of the worst candidates losing the popular vote by just 1.5 points due to your DDS
Sliwa lost by 43 points, that is one of the worst candidates ever, not Harris
Sliwa got 7%, Harris got 48%.
The left wing isn't moving further left. Biden ran a pretty centrist govt and supported free trade
Betting markets are meaningless this early
I'll bet you AOC won't be the Dem nominee for President
She has no chance.
I'll even give you odds on her no chance
Bet??????????
Lol
You only bring her up as the Dem presidential nominee due to your DDS
She has ZERO chance
The Dems ran the table due to the Republican party becoming more extremist against free trade
Tarriffs, vindictive prosecutions, masked agents running amok in cities, food prices up. Taxes up ect ect
The dems ran the table because people were voting against the extremist republican party

Geez. You keep making up stuff I didn’t say. What I’ve said is TRUMP was perhaps the worst candidate ever, not Harris!

Give me 20-1 on AOC and tell me how much you want to bet? Your $1000 against my $50?

(You can lay around 7-1 on AOC on Predictit).

How about an even money bet on whether the ‘Extremist Republican Party’ controls the Senate after the midterms? My $500 against your $500?

Sliwa was a ‘jobber’. Read my previous posts. No real Republican with any political future wanted to be slaughtered in 80+% Democrat New York City. Yes, Sliwa is a silly candidate. Everyone knows that!

The surprise, at least to me, is not that Mamdani won: rather it is that he got the nomination as the democratic candidate.

Looking forward, I think the two democratic front runners for president in 2028 will be Newsome and Pritzker.

Harris' drubbing showed that ma and pa Kettle ain't progressive.

Didn’t know former Fox News couch sitter split with Don jr. Quite a contrast there with the other gent.

Quote:
Kimberly Guilfoyle reflected on her honeymoon with ex-husband, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, during a meeting with the president of Greece

"I also had a honeymoon here in 2004. Fabulous honeymoon but…" Guilfoyle said, adding, "We'll work on getting a new husband"

Guilfoyle's comments come less than a year after she and Donald Trump Jr. ended their engagement

She's also now the US Ambassador to Greece.

Cuomo was ahead by 40 percentage points before the June primary. Then he disappeared and didn't campaign at all. Mamdani's people did what AOC did to win her seat and began ringing doorbells to get out the vote for Mamdani and save the city from the disaster that would have been Cuomo.

It’s strategy that works —- when it is used. Especially, if the others don’t.

Facing an initial national name recognition of only 2%, Jimmy Carter's strategy to win the 1976 Democratic nomination and eventually the presidency involved a tireless, "boots-on-the-ground" approach that prioritized retail politics and strong grassroots organization.

Key aspects of his campaign included:

Extensive Travel: Carter embarked on a multi-state tour, making hundreds of speeches and shaking hands with countless people, often staying in volunteers' homes rather than hotels.
The "Peanut Brigade": A dedicated group of volunteers, including family and friends from Georgia, traveled to early primary states like Iowa and New Hampshire and engaged in door-to-door canvassing and local organizing to build support for the little-known former governor.

Great example of TDS. Trump does something laudable. Making the anti obesity drugs more available to the general public is likely the single policy that will improve quality and longevity of American lives. And Rx’s comment? About how bad the old man LOOKS! It wouldn’t stun me to find out Trump is on a low dose of Mounjaro. He seems less obese recently.

In presenting evidence in a motion to the court as part of its perjury defense, James Comey's legal team altered two words in a transcript of his 2020 Senate testimony to make it seem as if Sen. Ted Cruz asked Comey a key question he didnt actually ask him during the hearing.

James Comey's high-priced legal team just cited a movie to support the argument Trump didn't have to directly instruct Halligan to indict Comey: "A ruler need not take the form of literal instructions. See Becket (1964 film) ('Will no one rid me of this meddlesome priest?')"
