hypersonic missile vs supersonic missile

>>>

Supersonic means faster than the speed of sound, while hypersonic means specifically five times faster than the speed of sound. Therefore, all hypersonic speeds are also supersonic, but something supersonic is not necessarily hypersonic.
__

Which country has hypersonic missile?

Only three countries — Russia, the US, and China — have tested missiles or other weapons in the atmosphere at hypersonic speeds. Now, after three decades of technological research and development, India too has joined this elite group.
__

What is the difference between a hypersonic missile and an ICBM?

ICBMs are designed for global reach, with ranges exceeding 5,500 kilometers (about 3,418 miles). In contrast, IRBMs, like the one tested by Russia, have a shorter range of 1,800 to 5,500 kilometers (about 1,118 to 3,418 miles), which confines their use to regional targets
__

What can stop hypersonic missiles?

High-power lasers. High-power lasers can be used to disable a hypersonic weapon through a direct hit, by heating and disrupting the high-speed airflows (boundary layers) around the vehicle, as well as by blinding (or 'dazzling') sensors used to navigate towards its target. [I think there are anti-missile systems that work but they are very challenged]
__

What is better than hypersonic missiles?

Detailed analysis shows that MaRVs launched on ballistic missiles flown on depressed trajectories out-perform hypersonic weapons in many flight scenarios. They would also likely be developed more quickly and perform more reliably than hypersonic missiles.

The maneuverable reentry vehicle (abbreviated MARV or MaRV) is a type of warhead for ballistic missiles that is capable of maneuvering and changing its trajectory.

There are several companies out there developing the technology and the engineering to dig deep-several kilometers deep-closed loop wells to use the Earth's heat to generate super-critical steam to drive power plant generators. I hope they become commercially viable and can help power our grid in large numbers.

AZ stumped me by commenting 'you may call me “Meyer.” ' Did he mean the below?

call me Meyer meaning?

If one reaches the Ruhr, my name is not Goering. You can call me Meyer. ' The Germans mocked Goering for this when the Allied forces started to destroy Germany from air attacks day and night, they started calling air raid sirens, 'Meyer's trumpets.
__

What does "call me Meier" mean?

In fact the phrase is/was a German idiom meaning "virtually impossible" and best translated as "you can call me a Dutchman" or "you can call me a monkey's uncle". [this suggests Goering did not originate the phrase]
__

What does the name Robert mean?

bright fame

Robert is an old German name that means “bright fame.” It's taken from the old German name Hrodebert. The name is made up of two elements: hrod which means "fame" and beraht which means "bright." The name was introduced to the people of England by the Normans in the Middle Ages ['people also ask' goes on with a lot of different name origins once you ask about one of them]

we were watching Montreal Canadians players using smelling salts like crazy

>>>

why do hockey players use smelling salts?

More recently, athletes have begun to use smelling salts with the belief that their use will keep them more alert. The use of smelling salts is particularly popular among football and hockey players who believe this reflex will counteract the effects of concussion.

"mouse jigglers"- People pretending to be working from home. Companies are getting more tools to catch them at it. I guess there are several ways to appear to be working.

I have known several people who work at home and they all scam at it. There's all kinds of ways to make it look like you're working when you're not. If they have to go back to a real office and a real job it will literally kill them.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

It takes a lot more hands on management to make sure remote workers are performing at the expected level. Most of the managers are new to remote workers and don;t know how to manage it. They tend to be also biased assuming those employees that were good in the office will also be as a remote worker.
