That is not going to have a huge impact, today and tomorrow are what will impact the markets. That is why I am projecting late this week early next week prices will be much different. What will really matter the most is the day that they close the straight, if they do this, who even knows, the market will be insane. |

Do you think in 7 days oil prices will be higher than yesterday? My guess is if they are they will be less than 5% higher. You are correct if they are able to block the straight of Hormuz they will definitely go higher. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Yes. Even without this situation there is a good chance they would have been higher naturally in 7 days (they have been way low the last couple weeks, some would say too low.) However, factor in this situation, on top of natural fluctuating, I am positive oil prices will be higher than today. And, factor in the increasingly likelihood that Iran will or will at least attempt to close the straight, there is no way they will be lower in 7 days. My guess is even by tomorrow, it will be up a couple cents, because Trump's directive to artificially keep prices low, caused a drop of 75cents this morning, which was not market based. So even by tomorrow a small rise of a couple cents would be very expected. |

Iran screams "down with America" Death to America is a common mistranslation. And, frankly their revolution chant is justified because they were pushing out an American backed dictator. Iran is only an issue because we made it so. Iran is an example of a country we have been on the wrong side of history the whole time. |

I thought when Brent hit $78 last week it was on the high side. I would not expect it to be above $82 next week unless there is a successful blockade. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Unlike Democrat presidents he actually does what he says he's going to do, or at least he tries to. Democrat presidents make all kinds of promises and then do absolutely nothing.
