Not in NYC.

Democrat City officials dropped the charges against the nearly 1,400 arrested and agreed to pay each of them $10,000 for their troubles.

That NYPD Chief of Department Monahan later got his head bashed in with wooden cane by one of those protesters.

Charges dropped of course.

NYC agreed to pay the supposed rioters for violations of their civil rights. Got a problem with that?

They always look at motive. That’s why the same crime is sometimes not the same penalty. Many Jan 6 rioters left enough evidence to make a defense lawyer cry.

BLM riots weren't an insurrection by any legal definition of the word.

They are by the standards the left wing is holding Jan 6 to. And you are proving my point that if Jan 6 was BLM the left wingers would be cheering it on.

Ah, the politicization of right and wrong: how low we've sunk as a country...

In my eyes
You break the law
You should be prosecuted

who cares how you define it?

The Lefty idea that politically useful rioting and violence should be dismissed as mere 'demonstrating' and the the perpetrators of violence should be not arrested or if arrested, let go, like is typically done with non-violent civil disobedience demonstrators, is revolting to any normal person.

Poor OD was evidently being told in the UK that violent people were being arrested and prosecuted over here. They tried that in the US Media too ... "Peaceful but Fiery protests" they tried to say... alas there were too many who knew the truth and they didn't take the country down like many of those cheering them on here would have liked
