I'm pretty sure it wasn't a good idea to give the extreme narcissist even more recognition and power than before. So, I expect that to play out badly. Trump and his cronies will keep having to pretend climate change doesn't exist. Who knows what fakery the FDA and the EPA will suffer from under this administration. Who knows what will happen in the Justice Department including the FBI. No doubt though, we'll be safe from illegal aliens and people like Elon Musk will make more money.

Got to ‘talent.com ‘. Says 25th percentile was $11.49. 75th percentile $18.51. I take that as 50th percentile is a tad less than the $16 an hour I mentioned for NY. Frankly, since there are executives/managers who make far more than that, my point is that the kid/old guy bagging the groceries/stocking the shelves is likely making less than NY minimum wage. AS IT SHOULD BE. NOT THE GOVERNMENT’s job to regulate wages.

Everybody that worked for American Express in NYC made a lot more in the same job then us in Florida

Smart companies pay their employees in NYC more then Tampa. No govt regulation. Just common sense to retain talent

The state of Fl has a 13.00 minimum wage raised this year
Next year it will be 14.00
Can you guess the minimum wage in FL the following year.

With Trump in office with inflation rising due to tarriffs, probably 16 in 2027. Starting 2027, the minimum wage increase is pegged to inflation. Prior to 2027. It's a solid buck a year

These are actually lower wages then the free market. Take the Villages. McDonald's starting pay 14.50 an hour in nearby Mt Dora and probably having a hard time hiring. With no cheap housing in the Villages itself, the market rate probably higher to hire
