OMG, you actually listened to the whole
thing? I tried last week and lasted about
a minute. Waste of time.

Quote from Prince
"When there's blood in the sky - red and blue= purple... purple rain pertains to the end of the world and being with the one you love and letting your faith/god guide you through the purple rain"

Bruce Springsteen opened his show with Purple Rain in Brooklyn a few nights ago

Back when I was in high school we could have done this (and would have). But it was completely unknown.

The extract is typically made by pouring a solvent, often butane, over marijuana plants to extract the THC, then letting the solvent evaporate. The waxy substance that remains, and its variants, now make up a booming sector of the marijuana economy, according to the ArcView Group, a company that studies and invests in the cannabis industry.

The wax used for dabbing can have a concentration of up to 80 percent.(THC)

For the longest time, I have wondered if Mozart's obnoxious laugh in the movie 'Amadeus' was accurately portrayed.

One of my problems is that I sit down at the computer and forget what I was going to do, and fail to check on it, then wonder again later. This can go on for a while, and this one has for years. But I remembered this morning and was surprised to find little on it; the 'ask the historians' site had the question, and some supposed historians answered only to reveal they didn't know and didn't care to spend any effort on it.

But imdb.com came through, or at least I myself am satisfied someone gave a good answer - at least he provides a source:

Quote: Trivia section of Imdb dot com
It has been claimed that the concept for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's bizarre laugh was taken from "references in letters written about him by two women who met him", that describe him as laughing in "an infectious giddy" which sounds "like metal scraping glass". No citations have ever been provided for these letters, however. There is no indication as to who wrote them, to whom or when. And in the absence of further citations, these claims of historical evidence for Mozart's laugh should be regarded as dubious at best. Robert L. Marshall, writing in "Film as Musicology: Amadeus" (The Musical Quarterly, Vol.18/2, 1997, p.177) says that there is "absolutely no historical evidence for this idiosyncrasy. We simply have no contemporary testimony at all as to how Mozart sounded when he laughed."

It is good to be acknowledged. I hope it was significant.

Thanks.

Being in a permanently historical mood, I'm reminded a bit of King Pyrrhus of Epirus. But that's only temporary.

Maybe one day, larger home 3d printers will enable us to 3d print a home high tech wind generator from code off the Internet. An Opensource project that will constantly improve and could even be tailored for different conditions.

So maybe in some cases it will only be enough energy to run my entertainment center or low charge energy batteries but it would still be something.

Home computers programs should be capable of managing irregular power generation. You couldn't really optimize multiple sources of irregular small energy without such a system in place.
