You know how the law works. You don’t always have enough evidence to convict someone. And you can’t always get a conviction. And people plea down. That’s the way it is whether you’re BLM or other criminal. BLM did not get special treatment, other than the same special treatment anyone might get in similar situations completely unrelated to BLM.

BTW, the Jan 6 people hung around in daylight in one spot, hundreds if not thousands of camera phones. And they kept recordings of their crimes. It’s easy to see why so many got charged. And broacast on network and cable live.

Profiling is not racist. Profiling is good police work.

I have to agree with Duffman, profiling is fine as long as it is not against a protected class.

Doesn't matter if it is a "class" or not. Profiling is simply good police work.

Now, the intellectually uncurious low IQ types think "profiling" simply means stopping every black person a cop sees. It is not.

Profiling is looking for what does not belong. A group of teens in the mall jewelry store for example. Someone sitting in a car on a street for no apparent reason. A white guy in a car crusing a black neighborhood. It is also looking for what fits the profile. For example, gang activity. Mass shoplifting.

The class does not matter. What matters is there is good reason.

I saw a well-educated black guy on TV the other day saying he likes getting profiled by the police because he's got nothing to hide. He likes it that the cops profile black people because it gets rid of a lot of bad ones. He says, and this is a black guy talking, that he's more afraid going into a black neighborhood or to a store that has mostly black people, and he's never afraid going into a white neighborhood or a white store. What does that tell you about our society when people of color are afraid of other people of color more than they are white people.

Didn't Jesse Jackson say he got relieved when he turned around and it was a white guy not a black guy following him?



Remember when a NAACP officer got pulled over and claimed all kinds of racism by the cop then the bodycam footage showed the cop was totally polite?

I once knew two black guys got pulled over. Not because they were black but the car was reported stolen and recovered the same afternoon but was still on the hot sheet. The car was profiled!

Before I gave up hunting, I realized that hunting is all profiling. That's all you do the whole time you're out there is profile. You're looking for a very specific thing to shoot at. Profiling is built into our DNA. If I'm a guy who's hunting for a good looking educated wife with a nice figure, I profile the hell out of it. You get the idea I don't need to name a whole bunch of other examples. Stands to reason that if in a certain neighborhood 80% of the crimes are committed by a certain type of person that's what you'd be looking for 80% of the time. You'd be an idiot not to.
